Cooper Rush is 5-0

Dallas is not anywhere near on pace to match last years TOs by the defense.
Just curious..I don’t have a clue. How do we compare to last season on getting 3 and outs and getting off the field on 3rd down. Just from watching games, looks like we’re better in both areas.

10/16 100 yds is not a good day. If folks are happy with this because we won, there should be no problems with Dak coming back. He’s driven the bus before…
he was ahead in the score before he even stepped on the field
then he avoided mistakes, made key 3rd downs several times, he won, we won. Id take 10/16 and 100 any day over a qb playing from behind and losing while going 35 of 60 and 400 yds

And all these comments about Rush's stats as if there's such a strong correlation between passing yards and wins. Rush doesn't hold the ball forever so he doesn't take many sacks (except when the Aaron Donald's of the world line up against a rookie). You want to call him a bus driver? OK, but he does not get in the way of winning.

Nice!

Not sure where the stat is, but third down conversions overall seem close to the same. The last three games in 2021 increased Dallas third down opponent conversion percentage and part of that was just meaningless games in blowouts, so it’s graciously in favor of 2022 taking this into accoun.

As far as ranking, Dallas was two last year, while they are currently tenth this year.

And the TO margin is clearly in favor of last year.

Right now, it’s the scoring defense in favor of 2022. But you got to remember Dallas is playing TOP with the run game. They’ve slowed the game down.

I owe Zeke an apology at least for this game. He ran with more conviction today than I’ve seen him run in a long time. He was moving the line after initial contact for 2-3 more yards.

Again, Dak-stans are ignoring the fact last years defense was putting the Cowboys in plenty of favorably scoring positions. Dak did not win a single game last year when the defense didn’t generate a TO.

You know who has won multiple games when the defense didn’t generate a TO?

The legend Cooper Rush…. He even won last year against the Vikings when the defense didn’t generate a TO. Something Dak couldn’t do.

He's won 4 straight and beaten the super bowl teams from last year. Say what you want but this team is playing winning football with him at the helm. Stats mean nothing to him. Just win baby!
Yeah, and everyone else wants Dakota "TOAD HUNTER" Prescot to start because of his stats.......LOL!!!!!!! JUST BABY, that's all R-U-S-H has done with lesser receivers and TEs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why? Dak played horrible in the first game of the season. You may not like Rush, but he is a winner, and that is all that counts.
You may want to understand who you’re talking to before making assumptions. I do like Rush. I’ve been called a Dak hater for years

They definately aren't winning because of him but they definately aren't losing because of him...i don't care who our QB is i just want them to win so badly!!

I disagree.
Rush has given the Cowboys offense leadership, something they were desperate for, and that has given the defense the knowledge that they aren't playing by their self.
He plays with purpose, and his passes are accurate, and that's the difference in the offense in the passing game. Now the run game compliments an accurate and respected passing gamé- helping both to thrive.
A whole lotta projection in this post. Rush is not very good and the offensive numbers show that.

I love the excuses for Rush that are never there for Dak. WRs have dropped balls all the time with him. Also, let me know when Cooper Rush is forced to score TDs on almost every drive to stay alive. Dak's defenses his career have been crap. And that is putting it nicely. He went toe to toe with Rodgers and actually outplayed him as a rookie in the playoffs but lost because this defense let the Packers score TDs on 3 straight drives and let Rodgers win it at the end. Cooper is being asked to do nothing but be an opportunistic QB and make just a few plays per game vs Dak who had to make tons of plays and if he failed on one, the entire game is his fault. So now Rush benefits from his defense scoring as many TDs as he is but is somehow credited with a win. I love the contradictions you people have because of your vendetta against Dak
But Cooper doesn't put the defense in that position to begin with...that's the thing people don't want to give Cooper credit for.
