It's a plain as day to see that Moore is just severely limited as a player.

Cooper Rush has some talent.

This is a no contest.


I can understand them not trusting Rush as their primary backup but they need to make a move for a veteran but they should not play Moore over Rush under any circumstance.

If Rush had a slightly better arm he would be drafted because he has all the other abilities of a good NFL QB.

Rush needs to be the backup .. it's that simple. It's not hyperbolic at all nor is it a byproduct of how pathetic Moore has looked. Rush is exactly what you want if you don't have a proven solid veteran backup and that's a guy that has the potential to be a starter one day. I'm not talking about him supplanting Dak by any means, but if Dak is lost for several games or the season, you don't want a bandaid .. you want a guy who can come in, continue to get better and win games for you.

Moore has peaked .. he peaked in Detroit. Moore has already reached his potential. Whether Rush is a future starter for some team or a Matt (not Kellen) Moore backup type, he at least right now has potential to improve and help you win games, neither of which Moore has or provides.

Cooper Rush looks like the real deal. It was very impressive how he stood in the pocket and took a big hit while delivering a 20+ yard TD throw. He definitely needs to be the backup. It's not even close.

Patrick Mahomes had a good night as a backup QB tonight but guess what, Rush outperformed him. He way outperformed Wentz. You don't get rid of rookie QBs that outperform 1st round picks. The montra changes this week. Moore's hold on the backup job will see its first cracks this week and by cutdown day, the team will get it right. I have confidence.

If anything, you can eventually trade Rush for picks. Cutting Rush for Moore would be one of the awful moves this organization has made if they do.

First preseason game I've been able to watch start to finish. If Rush gets released over Moore, Linehan and Garrett need head examinations. Dude has the IT factor, and Moore has the **it factor.

He won't be released but I'm afraid they may try to sneak him onto the PS.....he has earned the right to be the #2 IMO.

Exactly. After the success they had with Dak last year I would think the coaches would be more willing to have a rookie as the backup QB. Cooper Rush is the guy.
