Cooper Rush update

We won because the defense was not letting the other teams offense score. The d was top notch the first half of the season until the injuries started happening.

Rush helped by not turning the ball over (much) and just maintaining. The defense rarely had to make up ground for him.

Could any other (barely) backup QB do what Coop did, given the defense? It's not like he had a lot of playing time. I dunno...who can say? He did.

Our defense holding opponents to 13 PPG in those 4 wins was really helpful.

Yep....made it easier for Coop just to maintain....not having to conguer. Wish we coulda sustained it.

He's a nice backup and did post a 4-1 winning percentage (Just wanted to hear you scream).

Troy actually mentioned he did increase his arm strenght with workouts and better mechanics during one of the broadcast.

I still would rather draft a QB to groom rather than sign Rush.

We can ...some of us....do two things at once. Give Cooper his due credit...and want to upgrade.
