Dallas could have easily gone 10-7 or as high as 12-5 with Rush. Maybe better because they could have added some depth with the extra money. Rush is 5-1 as a starter the last 2 years. Just sayin. Dak isn't all that much better, but he sure costs a lot more. And I am sticking to my initial assessment: Better arm and overall talent, but slower and worse decision making.
if you think Dallas could have gone 12-5 or 10-7 wit rush then I have a bridge in brooklyn I like to sell you.

with Rush at the helm, the offense was in the 20s and low 20s in almost all statistical categories. for reference, no team that was ranked 20th and below on offense made the playoffs in 2022. or 2021 or 2020.

but yeah, let facts get in the way of a good spin story.

Rush mid-game mid-season prayer looking up to God wishing for a better QB....his prayers were answered whereas Dak is sitting there thinking: "Who will get the blame next for my poor play?"
more like Dak looking and asking how the heck did I go from Garrett and Linehan to Moore....and the 10 yard curl route just doesn't go away.....

he sucks. end of story. come to grips.

but sounds like you attribute a 100 yard outing, 13 point offensive output win to Rush's ability to win games. the defense scoring a TD and gifting them a field goal is immaterial...right?
A guy who loses sucks. Wouldn't hurt you to acknowledge that he did his job well.

Just to remind you... Dak is 10-2 vs the Commanders. One of his losses against Washington happened when our fg snapper moved the ball presnap and backed us up out of fg range.

Speaking of Washington, why weren't Brady and Rodgers able to shred their defense last year as well?? Maybe you can quickly answer that for me.

To conclude.... Cooper Rush came to the NFL a year after Dak arrived. Dak earned himself a max contract.... Rush has been living on and released from practice squads his whole career.

So does this mean 31 other GMs have been too stupid to sign Rush up, give him a starting job and pay him max dollars? Like Dak?

Why haven't other teams snatched Rush up for 6 long years?? Help us all understand this.

he did ok. glad the team won. but I don't have a Rush Crush love affair, because "I hate dak so I am going to lean into rush and mention 4-1 18,000 times" as if wins are a QB stat...anyone believing he would take us to 12-5, 11-6 or 10-7 has an agenda to drive. or didn't watch him play.

I don't think I have brought him up other than maybe to say he's probably leaving. Only defended him when folks were too harsh or act like he will be lucky to get the league minimum.

The team was good enough to win that amount of games as long as the QB just plays steady & doesn't give the ball away too much. That's why its not far fetched to say he could have gotten us there.

No one is saying you could expect him to carry a bad team.
