Hmmm Randall Williams

Another physically talented fast receiver who could not catch the ball.

Morgan = Randall Williams :D

No, Williams could play special teams.;)

Copper....from what I've read, Crowder isn't ready to even get on the field as a WR. Copper was excellent last year on special teams and was ahead of Crayton at WR at the end of the season, though he was on the sideline out of gas when Crayton made the catch against Washington.

I didn't see the Arizona game, but I watched the Seattle game...I didn't even see Crowder do anything on special teams...what did he do last week?

I like Crowder and think he can help the Cowboys special teams. I think Bill will try to keep him, but if it is close he will be cut. He can't contribute at any regular position. He couldn't find a position to play in college, what makes anyone think he can do it in the pros. Wood Dantzler can't do it and he actually earned a position in college.

College teams have much bigger rosters and can keep a guy around to just play special teams, but NFL teams rarely have that luxury. Teams like the Cowboys who finish 5-11, 5-11, 5-11, 10-6 and 6-10 don't seem to be one of those fortunate teams. And I have this opinion even though I find special teams to be very important to winning.

Copper actually made some plays last year at receiver and special teams. He has that advantage on Crowder. It isn't a big advantage, but it is there. Crowder is a good candidate for the practice squad.

I think Copper makes the team and Crowder will go to the PS. Crowder really is a player with no true position at this stage, he is trying to learn the WR position. I think Beriault play on special team will make moving Crowder to the PS a bit easier.

Crowder's one of those guys Bill calls "a football player".

I like Copper but he's a dime-a-dozen developing receiver, and again, one with no exceptional skill or feature.

Both, Morgan is toast.;)
There you go! Morgan has done even less thus far AND is a zero on ST! Unless we pick-up a WR after the final cuts, I'm betting Copper and Crowder makes the team as ST contributers first while continuing to develop as the 4th & 5th WR.....

It doesn't matter if Copper has the edge as a WR. The 5th receiver's not going to see the field much anyway, so it comes down to who the better ST player is. Copper may be a solid contributor on ST, but Crowder has a chance to be a difference maker.

I think he'll become a solid #3 in a couple of years if someone's willing to be a little patient w/ him.
