Vikings just traded for Mike Wallace and Patterson barely got any reps last year. I know the Cowboys were interested the year that they drafted Frederick but he got picked a few picks before. I would gladly send the Vikings a 6th round pick from this year and a 4th round pick from next year (Especially knowing the amount of compensatory picks we will have next year) in exchange for Patterson

Patterson is an exceptional return man both when it comes to punt return and kick return and also would be the first true speed deep threat the Cowboys have had in a while.

What do you guys think?

Patterson is an incredible athlete, however, it's starting to look like he isn't really much of a WR.

Sure would be an interesting prospect.

Unless Dooley speaks up for him, I doubt it.

And if he does, then we are definitely going away from the run and that is not good.

We do need a return man and a guy that could come in off the bench if needed at WR

Interesting side note, our wide receivers coach was his head coach at tennessee. But IMO he is Devin Hester esque. Returns & special WR packages only

I saw on Twitter yesterday that Minnesota was supposedly shopping him for a trade. I could see the Cowboys getting him especially since Derrick Dooley is the Wr coach here.

Only one problem with trading a 6th this year-we don't have one. It was traded to the Ravens for McClain

I don't agree with that. Adding a guy that can have great value as a returner and maybe some special packages shouldnt take away from the run game

Bring him in for sure and the Vikings hardly used him last season. He has speed to burn and being wasted in Minny.

I like it!!!!

Patterson is not a good blocker and would have a real hard time fitting in unless we have specific plays mapped out for him to get him the football.

That is what drove Norv Turner in to benching him in the first place.

I wouldn't mind as long as I don't have to learn how to spell his first name.

It be nice to get this lethal returner believe he went to pro bowl as a returner his rookie year, he can be 4th receiver get in some sets on underneathe routes and use his play making ability that way, seems to not run good routes deep which can be coached too.

There is just something that I don't like about his mental make up. He is athletic but I don't think he has what it takes to be a really good WR.

I......

I thought he had proven me wrong in 2013 for a bit but his inconsistency raised its ugly head by the end of the season and in 2014 he was a flat out bust.

No thanks on him.

You should post more Chappy!
