Cory P. and Bobby C. last Night...

I think it is obvious that these two are the keys to our success...

No doubt that Barbie has shown considerable improvement since day 1 and Proc simply seems to be the most underrated played in the NFL when it comes to OL play.

Carpenter's ability to continually be out of position is awe inspiring and the ability of Cory to launch a shotgun snap at 150 mph plus (with movement) is a skill that cannot be taught.

I think it certainly was obvious last night (and over the past few years) why these two are on the roster.

I think Barbie looked solid in coverage last night.

Proctor is just terrible and I wish he would stop stealing money from this franchise.

I need to rewatch the game. Saw a few posts about how good Barbie and Procter did. Funny how the second team D was getting run on at will and none of it is Barbies fault. He is above any blame. The second team offense was crap...and none of it was Proctors fault. QB/Center fumble = not Proctors fault...amazing.

I honestly don't get all of the Procter hate. Yea the guys a career back up, but with the exceptions of a few bonehead plays, he does his job. He helped maintain the line for most of the season last year. Hes cheap and he can play multiply positions so he must be pretty football smart.

Yea hes a back up, but he is decent for a back up. Compare him to our other second string oline players. Hes not that bad.

Barbie is solid coverage but the dude refuses to stop a running play.

He was in there for at least 15 running plays and didn't make more than a single stop. :(
He ended up with one tackle but I 'm pretty sure that was a short passing play in the flat.

Yup...and if you compare Hitler to Stalin when it comes to overall psycho/mass murderers...wack job Aldoph looks pretty mellow.

Comparing crap to crap is no justification to keep someone.

Jerry should just put a turn style out there. It is cheaper and just as effective.

Agreed. It might get you like another 5 minutes of fame or something.

You could even add it into your sig to impress more hordes of negative fans :)

blah blah blah. Carp fought through guards and made tackles on two running plays. This was despite Phillips and Butler constantly running up the field and out of position and the DL not forcing a single double team and guards getting free shots at the second level.

QB waterboy, one day you will realize that speaking loud does not make your argument any better.

Hell, do you even make a post if its not in a thread you started?

Carp did well in two aspects of the game, blitzing and coverage. He didn't do much to stop the run, but neither did the rest of the backups, so I'm not sure how much of it was actually his fault. (When you're running to one gap and the offense runs through a gap vacated by someone else, it's hard to make the tackle. So the question should be how did Carpenter handle his responsibilities?)

The fumbled exchange between Proctor and Kitna appeared to be Kitna's fault because Proctor got the ball up into his hands and Kitna allowed it to go through. The Shotgun snap was Proctor's fault because he snapped it high around Kitna's head and to the right where Kitna could not make a clean catch with both hands. It wasn't an impossible snap to handle, but it was like assigning Kitna a passed ball when it should be recorded as a wild pitch.

Didn't you know he's the best Cowboy fan ever because he yelled at a couple of coaches and a reporter?

This fact also clearly makes him the smartest man alive, therefore, every post and comment he makes should be seen as gold.

I never bowed down to this guy like most of the people on this forum.

I rewatched the game and thought Carpenter play acceptionally well. Nothing great be he made some good plays in coverage and against the run. It was promising.

Wait and see. When he signs midway through the year, he's going to put up Pro Bowl numbers, and become the first player to make it after playing only 6 games.

;)
