Costa is bad and I would see how Kowalski is this week

I didn't pay any attention to Costas blocking but I blame all of those bad snaps on the officials if the whole cadence thing was true.

There is nothing you can do about that as an OL.

the D players are always talking and doing stuff to pull the O line offsides. Costa should not have had that problem the whole game; unless he is too dumb to learn to ignore it

Coata is frankly pretty poor at all aspects of play. He is seriously hurting this team.

Kowalski is most likely a better option for Dallas at this point. Lesser of two evils so to speak.

He's run blocked and pass blocked very well. We've also picked up the blitz surprisingly well for such a young O-line.

At times fans talk and don't really have an idea of what they're saying..

This is why coaches will hold off comments until they can sit down and look at the game film. They will look for both the negitives and positives and go from there.

...you don't REALLy believe that do you? Red and Tony are just covering for the kid...pretty obvious they don't want to see the Dallas media obliterate him....and more importantly they must feel Kowalski isn't a much better option or he'd be in there (scary I know)

Also funny how Gurode never got this excuse... He was always just a stupid oaf.

If this was what was going on, then we need a different way of signaling the snap, because other teams can and will do the same thing.

Also, I'll reiterate that Mosley has said the coaches really like Kowalski. He acts like they like him long-term more than Costa.

Tony was sacked 1 time, that is not at all scary.

If Costa can fix the snaps I'm ok with his play.

I expect it to be corrected by next weekend unless it was a problem with Romo.

Keep in mind that sore ribs might have prevented Tony from calling out the cadence with his normal effort. Yes he was given shots for the pain but even he admitted that it wore off early in the game.

If Tony did not have the lung capacity to call out an authoritative cadence, maybe he should have been under center.

Main thing is correct it. I don't care if Costa plays but he can't make mistakes like he did last night. I guess unlike some I'm more interested in the problem being resolved. If They feel Costa mistakes are things that they can correct then do it, if they feel Kowalski can do a better job then put him in.

Looking at his blocking, he's been very impressive to me; I really wasn't expecting him to be playing better than Gurode and I was a big Gurode fan.

If Romo and Garrett are so quick to defend him, I have to believe that the excuse his valid. Plus he was adamant when arguing with Romo on one of those bad snaps, he really defended himself.

Here's one of Felix's runs and look at Costa blocking opening the hole up. I've been similarly impressed with how he held up strength wise against the Jets and 9ers NTs.

I don't know but if it's true than that a legit excuse and should be a penalty.

Costa did well against the Jets. According to one service he graded out very high.

Yes, the snap thing has to be fixed, but the rest of his game has been more than acceptable.

I don't know but I wouldn't put it past those officials last night just to not call it.

You're pretty much helpless as an OL if they are calling your cadence.

But at the same time he looked like he was the only guy falling for it.

Still though it's a penalty.

I should know better but here it goes. Gurode became a goat for bad snaps. Costa is now being served up for bad snaps. If Kowalski comes in and follows suit I think you have to look at the QB. I can't believe that if that scenario happens the QB is free from criticism.
