No way. Last time Gurode met AH we won 45-14. I dont buy this 2 years of same offense at all. Tony Romo had a new OC and finished 13-3, Matt ryan 11-5. Did he not have Steve Spurrier for two years? He got injured and TC won like 4 straight and took them to playoffs. I dont consider antwaan Randel el, Devin Thomas and Thomas Kelly threats

Football is 11 on 11, not Haynesworth vs Gurode. You're really over simplifying.

I dont think you understand what Campbell has gone through. Every year besides this year, for the past six seasons, he has had to learn a new offense. That means new terminology, new philosophy, new basics. Some focus more on 5 step drops and a deep to shallow read. Others (WCO) employ more of a 3 step drop and look to dink and dunk and then fire deep. He's had to start all over 6 years straight.

Romo sat and learned an offense on the bench for 3 years.

And as far as Matt Ryan, no he did not have Steve Spurrier. Ryan went to Boston College, his coach was Jeff Jagodzinski. And he is the exception, not the rule going 11-5 as a rookie QB.

And no matter how you slice it, a maturing Campbell to Moss, Cooley, Portis, and the possible development of Kelley/Thomas are threats.

Never liked the saying, it is based in racism.

Campbell had more than one year under Gibbs, didn't he?

And I'm with you that if things break right, they could be good. But it sounds like we're higher on Campbell than they are. Reading ES, most are ready to run the guy out of town. And if this Samuels story is true, he has a very short leash before they yank him for Brennan. IMO, Brennan isn't a pro QB and would be a major disaster.

I was saying JC was under spurrier for two years. Not Matt Ryan. I am not that stupid. JC has been in NFL for 4-5 years. He has not showed the IT factor at all. Jim Zorn was Hasselbeck's coach. He did not dink and dunk all the time.

And he was better than campbell in last year's preseason. That kid was atleast willing to go downfield.

That he did, I stand corrected.

Maybe they switched offenses 06 to 07? I know Al Saunders was the OC both years, but I remember 06 being more of a Gibbs offense?

Yeah, that's true, but I think the terminology should have been similar, or even the same.

Yeah you'd think so. I dont know I just remember hearing on either ESPN or NFLN that he's had a new offense 5 or 6 years counting. Maybe I misheard and it was 5 of the last 6?

I saw a video of their trianing camp today. JC was making the check downs again. He did not go DEEP.

A guy who averages 31st in passing pct, 25 th in YPA, Tied for 26th in TD, 28th in 3rd down conv, and LAAST in tds over 20 yards, i dont care how many catches u throw to Cooley. He caught 1 TD catch last year. I am all for riling him up. Dallas cowboys are not scared. we ll call him tooley or whatever we want.

I don't know what video you were watching because Campbell went deep a couple of times to Devin Thomas alone.

01-05 at Auburn: different OC 3 out of 4 years
05 Don Breaux
06 Saunders
07 Gibbs was really the OC and did things differently than Saunders
08 Zorn and the WCO

Other offenses may be easy to learn but the WCO requires time for QB's. It took both Favre and Hasselbeck a few years each to get it down.

The problem with that is not Campbell, it is ES. :)

I don't think his videos were funny but I don't think there was any reason to get over worked about them. They're probably friends and the guy can't possibly actually believe he's in the same conversation as Jason Witten for best TE in the league.

Jason Witten stats:

2003-2008:

429-4,935-25 LG 53 11.5 YPC

Chis Cooley stats:

2004-2008:

314-3,457-28 LG 66 YPC 11.0

I'll throw out Witten's 2003 season since Cooley didn't play that year.

Witten: 394-4,588-24

Cooley: 314-3,457-28

Witten has 1,131 more yards and 80 more receptions since 2004. Plus, Witten has been the best blocking TE in the NFL since John Garrett took over the TEs. Furthermore, he's always been a good blocker. Jason Witten is a Hall of Fame player and a vertical trheat.

Chris Cooley is a punk, and he really needs to grow up and shut up. Acting like he does and clowning around like that, gets your butt kicked south of Kentucky. He is exactly the type of guy whom gets his butt kicked due to his punk attitude.

Chris Cooley has a message for uptight Cowboys fans

Some Cowboys fans apparently got their silver-and-blue britches in a bunch about Commanders TE Chris Cooley's videos that mocked Jason Witten and Tony Romo.

Cooley has responded on his blog. After writing that Witten is not a superior player, Cooley had this to say to you folks:

If you're a Cowboys fan don't try to make a point by asking when the last time the Skins won the Super Bowl. Instead ask yourself when the last time Dallas won a playoff game. If you don't like the content on our website, simply don't read it. Calling me a ****** and an idiot does not hurt my feelings and neither do fabricated stories. All you do when you comment garbage is offend normal fans and readers. And seriously, the videos are just for fun. I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feeling or improve my on field image. If you watched the video then take it with a grain of salt, maybe even laugh. All I'm trying to do is provide people with a couple minutes of entertainment. Believe it or not, Wit Dog and I are actually friends. I'm sure he was not offended.

Only in America, can a poor White boy grow up to be a rich White woman football player.

I'm sure if we send a response and a link to Bennett, he'll have something ready for us pretty soon.

Words of wisdom from Captain Caveman.

I don't know why anyone was offended by the video. You can tell it was for fun. If anything, it just makes the Commander/Cowboys rivalry more fun.
