cotton picking cowboys scouts, or whomever is in charge of drafting, their drafting of brewstera and butler to me stinks

brewster isnt very strong, etc
butler runs 40 in 4.84 real slow for a linebacker,

Gosselin had Brewster rated at number 81. He is going to be able to play guard, too. At least he has the size and should have more power. He was one of the top players in his conference. He should have a better chance than the finesse o--linemen the Cowboys have chosen in past drafts.

41gy, thats not what i heard about him, he isnt very strong, coming into college he weighed 360, lost lot of weight and had to diet, now he had skin flesh showing, dont have an anchor base, something that our offensive line coach likes

and 41gy do you know what offensive linemen were still there when cowboys picked him t j lang, louis vasquez and duke robinson, we just cant pick offensive linemen

Anyone who thinks they know more about the draft than the guys we now have in charge are either dumb or egomaniacs--we don't need any sexy picks, we need players

We should have traded up to spots and got Unger, and the same with Gilbert, I just don't understand this draft so far, it's filled with projects.

exactly. the "boys" are doing a great job. they know more than us, I havent been attending pro days nor private workouts. Have you cowboyjoe. you need to chill man. we really wont know about these picks & how they pan out until a couple years.

by the way....vasquez has terrible feet.

Cowboyjoe, from everything i've heard the Boys weren't all that impressed with sidbury.

i admit that sidbury was basically one dimensional on his pass rush move, but the speed was there at his size 4.65 at 266 pounds

but the linebacker we got from oregon 4.84 in 40, and get this, the cowboys didnt have the linebacker in for a visit, or interview him either;

To those who say the draft guys know more then any poster, well, that may be so. However, one of you please step up and tell me how many success stories they have under their belts when it comes to evaluating OL talent in the last 10 years.

I just have some big problems on how we handled rounds 2-5.
Hamlin seems to be good value if your looking for one example of a positive.

im not sold on hamlin, just havent heard good things about him, but some on this board like him, so i will give him the benefit of the doubt.

i was hoping for a safety with very good speed, we didnt get that. Among some other things like a big nt, or offensive linemen.
