Lol. This thread gave me life. By far and away the worst thread of the year thus far. And coincidentally, also the funniest. It is hilarious how certain people in this forum refuse to let Zeke go off the team. They want to find any minute role for him to stayI’d love to see the long list of elite NFL pass rushers who are 5’11 220, never pass rushed at any level, and probably run a 5.0 40 at this point…
I like your thinking outside the box. Zeke would probably be faster than the average DE and he is a bowling ball.I often wondered if someone like Zeke who has slowed but still explosive could be used as an elite occasional pass rusher? Would that RB burst and speed be used on the defense as an occasional special pass rusher?
Wondering if Parsons could be used on offense got me thinking about it. I only ever played DT in high school and was never really taught how to be elite at the role. I guess my coaches were not that great even though we did get to a championship my senior year and lose it.I was taught mostly just slants and try and get under or around blockers using my hands to rip at their jersey, so my knowledge of RB and what they could bring to a defense is even more limited.
What if old RB’s could get a second life as pass rushers? Small and quick could probably burst past some blocking?
The only thing worse than trying to make zeke happen is people that think their zeke jokes are so very clever and witty. I'm actually surprised people aren't bored with them by now.Stop trying to make Zeke happen.
We're more bored with coaches trying to make Zeke happen. The only thing worse than trying to make zeke happen is people that think their zeke jokes are so very clever and witty. I'm actually surprised people aren't bored with them by now.
Jason Peters to DT...I often wondered if someone like Zeke who has slowed but still explosive could be used as an elite occasional pass rusher? Would that RB burst and speed be used on the defense as an occasional special pass rusher?

Dez canIf you want to think outside the box why not see if Zeke can throw the ball?
They*We need to start drug testing people before the post...

I came in here to laugh at the idea of being able to trade Zeke for an "elite" pass rusher...but it was actually about playing Zeke as a pass rusher
By the way...and I know this was a long time ago....back when he was still a good rb...still kinda fun if you aren;t too much of a zeke hater:
