If the OLINE is and stays healthy Dak can do just about anything he cares to with this roster . No reason for him to have to be predictable or hang his hat on any part of the game ,

The object here with the new OC should be game plan specifically for each opponent . Not all opponents create the same match up dynamics some may be much more vulnerable to the run so Dak will do whatever it takes to get the win because he is a great football player .

We already had the greatest passer in the history of the franchise take us nowhere by concentrating all his efforts on passing at all costs . Sure Dak could audible out of half a dozen running plays a game and boost his passing stats but he is about winning so I dont see that happening to achieve some # that dosent reside in the win column.

Dak is not good enough to be a high passing and successful QB. Coaches need to keep his passing to a low pitch count with easy routes for him to hit.

This. Dak is a good leader and manages the game at an above average level but he will never be a Drew Brees type of QB. Short and intermediate routes are where he thrives. Unless his intended targets get a lot of YAC, Dak just isn't that guy.

Nope, it just hasn't been that type of offense. However he has done JUST that late in games to win it when he has had to. Maybe you missed those games eh?

Games? I thought the thread was about Dak being able to average 300 yds per game for an entire season? I must have missed that season as well. Silly me.

Dak has averaged 491 pass attempts per season, thus far in his career.

Throwing 491 times. He would need to average 9.77 yards per attempt, in order to average 300 yards per game.

Patrick Mahomes had the highest YPA of all full time starters last season. He averages 8.8 YPA. So Dak would need to have about w full yard higher in YPA than the MVP last season, to average 300 yards per game.

It’s not really reasonable to think any QB in this offense would average 300 yards a game.

Dak is going to surprise some people this year. He wont average 300, but having speed and recievers who can get open will help him take the next step

What's it going to be then, eh?

Look at Dak’s resume. Look at his career stats and W/L record.

Now for the sake of argument... let’s assume, like so many mouth-breathers believe, that Dak is merely an “average QB.”

Can you name another “average QB” who has enjoyed the success that Dak has enjoyed through 3 NFL seasons?

Of course you can’t.

This means that in order to believe that Dak is an “average QB”, you must also believe that Dak is just about the luckiest 4th-year QB in NFL HISTORY.

That’s the level of stupidity and denial we’re dealing with here. It’s honestly incredible.

If he had Antonio Brown, Amari Cooper, and Michael Gallup?
He can without AB. He got 242 a game last year. You think he would have to have AB to get those extra 15 yards per quarter? No. Just call a few extra passing plays.
