1. which idiotic GM has not learned from the Walker trade?
2. we were rebuilding a whole team back then. currently we are potential SB contenders. You don't trade a backbone of a franchise when you are contending for a SB, that is just idiotic.
3. who say all those POTENTIALS in pick will turn out anything close to a GREAT player.
4. People need to get over drooling for picks when it's been well established in FA that EVERY TEAM covets PROVEN commodity over unknown or "potential". That's why average FA gets so much money because they are PROVEN NFL players.

I agree no one would make the trade to start with.

What is idiotic is to say no player can be traded no matter what. That is stupid 1 player no matter how good that player is, is not worth 3 1's 3 2's and vet players I don't care who you are talking about.

Remind me how many years and how many picks did we use to find a pass rusher after Haley retired? and how this board complained day in and out for a pass rusher. now we got proposal to trade him?

It's not as if we have multiple GREAT pass rushers on this team and they grow on trees.

Besides, what about the financial repercussions of multiple 1st rounders (btw, most of which will be bust or never live up to their billings).

Sorry if you think no player is untradeable, there is not a player around who is beyond getting traded at the right price. That price may be beyond reason but everyone has a price.

Don't get me wrong I love having Ware and not even saying we should trade only stating a fact which is any and all players are tradable if someone is willing to go beyond a reason. As in the Walker trade, we not only got top draft picks because Minn ended up being a losing team we got vets like James Washington who turned out to be very good player for us, other vets come to Dallas with a draft pick attacked to them if they got cut we got a draft pick for him.

We gave 1 top pro bowl player and ended up with multiple pro bowl players who helped this team with Championships. I will agree there are some risk involved but there is a risk that Ware could get hurt tomorrow and his career is done I don't think you run a team without dealing with risk.
