Could Dallas Guaging DEWARE's Trade Value?

Would have to give us their entire draft before we gave up Ware, and maybe next years 1st too.

Awesome idea! Let's trade away one of the best defenders this team has ever seen when he hasn't even hit his prime. Pure genius!

Not sure why this thread started. Ware is our best defensive player. And it stands to reason he is one of the best defensive players in the league today. There is no way the Cowboys will trade him or even entertain the thought.

My sources tell me were not trading Ware.

You have to believe Jerry is not going to pay Deware Haynesworth money, with new stadium and poor economy I doubt he has the cash. I have a sneaky feeling if we dont have DEWARE signed by the draft and the right package was offered ( 2 #1's and a player), he might take it. Why not have 3great players for the price of one. Not saying this is going to happen - however the loner it goes unresolved......:banghead:
Who's the loner???
Does he ride a chopper, have 5 O'Clock shadow and have a cigarette in his mouth?
You will have to be more specific for me to actually believe this crap!
Normally I wouldn't reply to this kind of thread but your opening post is so....elementary(and I used that word to be nice), I couldn't help my self.
If you really believe JJ is going to let his best player go then look out dude, the sky is falling!!!:lmao2:

So there is no trade at all no matter what the price a team is willing to trade? Come on, everyone has a price it may be a far fetched price say like what the Vikes gave up for Walker but to say there is no price?

That's right I said MARK IT DOWN, DeMarcus Ware is untouchable PERIOD

What? Jerry has never had a problem paying anyone who was worth half they got. Plus the Cowboys are maybe the wealthiest team in the NFL.

Most importantly, do you know why you watch football? To see the best athletes. That's what these teams sell, ATHLETIC ENTERTAINMENT.

You get an athlete that will keep them coming in the doors you make sure he stays. That's the foundation of your business. That's the reason people come to your stadium.

The phrase that I'm thinking of starts with an "n" and ends with an "o you friggen moron"

This sounds like negotiation tactics to try to keep the other side from getting too crazy. Haynesworth is a thug who isn't worth 25% of the money he signed for....Ware is a stand up guy who is worth every penny. I just hope Ware's agent is a reasonable guy who does not try to break the bank.

NONE!!!

You dont trade a defensive player that gives you 20+ sacks a season and is in his mid 20s. That would be monumentally the most stupid thing a franchise could do.

I dont care if a team offers a Hershal Walker type package, my answer is NO!!!!!!

I don't expect anyone would even offer that but it is foolish to think no trade period I know how good Ware is but if you are talking 3 1st rd 3 2nd rds and vets player you could build something very special just as Dallas did with Walker. 1 player no matter how good will never take a team to a championship.

1. which idiotic GM has not learned from the Walker trade?
2. we were rebuilding a whole team back then. currently we are potential SB contenders. You don't trade a backbone of a franchise when you are contending for a SB, that is just idiotic.
3. who say all those POTENTIALS in pick will turn out anything close to a GREAT player.
4. People need to get over drooling for picks when it's been well established in FA that EVERY TEAM covets PROVEN commodity over unknown or "potential". That's why average FA gets so much money because they are PROVEN NFL players.
