I too have high hopes for Canty. Everything I've seen and heard leads me to believe that he will indeed be a great player. I think that with Canty's slide in the draft due to injury we were able to land 3 first round talents in one draft. It is a great position to be in for the Cowboys.

As for the DROY talk...I think it is a bit of a stretch to think that Canty will have a shot at that due to his situation of playing behind Ellis and the fact that 3-4 DE's don't get the glamour as has been stated here. I'm sure he will produce but not the kind of numbers (due to position not ability) that will get him any DROY mention. If anyone has a shot at the DROY it will be Ware because he will be in a higher profile position but if he does it might very well be because he is coming from behind Canty around that end.
