I think that is what he was saying. I doubt Tenn would make that deal, but who knows?

my wild #&^$ bored theory is that if Dallas does want to move down for someone that gives them more ammunition and I think Ayodele is gone anyway. So Dallas gets to move down four spots and gives Ayodele and a fourth for pacman. Chances of Ayodele not starting or being gone are good and the fourth pick will probably not make this team.

Getting Pacman and moving to 24 from 28 could be huge even if Dallas doesn't want the extra ammo to move up. I think it could be big for the WR or a RB like Stewart if you look at the teams you are leapfrogging. Also I still think someone might want somebody late in the draft like Dallas did with Quinn last year.

oh ok. keep dreaming.

What's so crazy about it?

Say someone they liked fell to #22. This would let them get ahead of Pittsburgh without giving up a draft pick.

And it values Pac at a high 5th rounder. I think that's about right.

Not saying it will happen, but it's not that farfetched.

I did understand the reasoning. I was just pulling your leg with the calculus crack because you made me have to cipher it.

i just don't see why they would do that. they'd be giving pacman away for nothing. this team wants a conditional 3rd round pick for pacman so i doubt they're gonna want to move up 2 lousy spots in the 1st round and still be out of the top 20.

pick in the first round for Dallas' 28 and say a fourth and Ayodele? This gets them in a better position because the talent drops off around 22 according to scouts.

I doubt Tenn would go for that.

Is SI the only place reporting we offered a player? I have not seen this anywhere else, I am starting to think it is BS.

Jerry needs to tell the Titans a 5th straight up or we are walking.

Read it again.

It was move down 4 spots, from 24 to 28, get our 4th, and Ayodele...

...for...

Us moving up from 28 to 24 and Pacman.

Right, there'd really be two separate trades.

Looking at the value chart, why don't we just trade our #22 for their #24? That's worth about 40 points, or a high 5th round pick, which is about what he's worth. We keep all our picks and still get Pac.

We could even throw in a 7th if they want it.

You might think so, but you don't get to trade up for free. A fifth is about what it would cost for them to do that.

(Yes, 5th round picks aren't worth a lot, at least by the chart.)

If they want a 3rd, I say forget it anyway.

If they were willing to swap 22 for 24 and send pacman our way I'd do it. I doubt they would be willing to how ever.

If that was all we'd give up for him I'd be stoked. I'd move two spots back for the guy in a heartbeat.
