Could the Boys move Flo to RT or even Guard?

I don't mean this year, unless he really doesn't get the rust off and relatively back to normal. But at some point if he can't get the mobility back.

I had this thought with Petiti too. Flo's lateral movement and speed/agility seems hampered. Even before his injury last year, speed rushers gave him a hard time. Larry Allen could play tackle until his mobility reduced. Then he went back to guard.

Maybe if we draft a high OT or McQuistan truly pans out (I still think this is a long term project, no matter what inate ability this guy has), we move Flo over to the right, or if he truly can't stop rushers going around him, then what about trying him at guard? I remember him playing well at right guard his first season I think. Guard is more straight ahead blocking isn't it? He is a bit tall for guard, but who knows.

I always wonder if a guy can't block in space that great any more, can he adjust to blocking on the inside, where guys can't go as wide on him?

Just brainstorming?

Allen was a lot more versatile than Flozell, so I think it would be tougher on Flozell. Also, Allen fluctuated between guard and tackle his entire career depending on our needs, and Flozell doesn't have any experience at guard.

I can't say it would be impossible, but I think it would be a big long shot.
