Could this be a work between Jerry and the Fan?

Jerry gets massive attention to his team over a bye week while the fan gets national attention and ratings. Jerry is no fool as far as keeping his team, number one in sports franchise in all of sports. No official statement from the station and Gavin Spittle or Audacy. Hmmm.
you know what, it wouldn't surprise me. Jerry once did tell reporters in Arizona that bad news and bad press is good for the cowboys because it keeps them in the headlines and keeps people intereted.

so he had a meltdown. I don't think that was planned, but now he is milking it. he is refusing to back down, three times now and guess what. everyone is talking about the cowboys.

I tell you he is a brilliant marketing man, but he SUCKS as a GM

No, not even Jerry wants this kind of negative attention. He really pissed a lot of people off.
No press is bad press. You think Jerry cares who he pisses off? He's old and rich. He knows he'll be dead soon and they can't take away all his money.

He and the station are getting attention in a bye week. I am not a JJ supporter, I hate what he entails as an owner. Have you noticed that RJ and especially Bobby Belt has been silent about this?
This. I'm really starting to think this. Jerry is usually all smiles and rainbows at .500. Even if we were 0-6 he'd be talking about how we could still go on a tear and make the playoffs. This "fight" with these radio homers will keep an otherwise snoozer team on the main stage for the Bye.

Could be, but I don't think so.

Shariff has always been frustrated by this dynamic. He came pretty close to spilling the beans about Jerry's influence in the local media earlier in the year.

I think they've just had enough.

He 1000% did this one purpose.

It was on the fly but it was purposely done and it’s doing exactly what he intended.
Yep. After watching his maneuvering and manipulating for 3 decades, I would not put anything past Jerry when it's 'a means to an end.'

That's no longer the case in the social media era. Now, the wrong press gets you banned, debanked, and socially exiled.

They were talking about it again this morning on the air, making fun of Jerry continuing to say he pays them.....

Because Jerry really seems to be loved by the public as is. Harrison Butker came out ok, I'm sure Jerry will be just fine.

If it is, it isn't working out like he hoped.

Duh…

That’s all this is.

The talk is all about Jerry and not about how trash his team is.

He’s purposely getting the focus on him and off the team.

He knows that he can’t be fired. It also feeds his ego.

Jerry is obviously playing everyone.
Jerry is 82. At this age I seriously doubt he's wise enough to come up with a scheme like this on his own.

Will there be an apology-fest on the next Jerry Jones radio talk show event? Or, will they ignore it ever happened? Will there be residual pissed off-edness detectable in their voices on either side? Will there be another dust-up? Will the hosts ask lame questions now that are only pro-Jerry-Cowboys? Will Jerry cancel?

Stay tuned! ;)

Trust me, JJs response waa not manufactured to keep the Cowboys in the spotlight. He was feeling the negativity pointed at him as a GM and blame being directed at him (mixed with his aging mind and JWB) resulted in that outburst.

This!

I have been anti-Jerry for a while.

But now……I vehemeny hate this jerkoff and will be openly rooting against the team from now on.

Fans in the stands need to start chanting “SELL THE TEAM” every week until Jerry the A-hole leaves.
You can rest easy in the knowledge that you're not the only one who feels that way! I can easily relate.

It's at a point whereby I grit my teeth just thinking of him. I was about to suggest selling the team, also.

He’s been doing it forever.

This is an old trick and it worked perfectly.
