It is inexcusable to have a plan that doesn't revolve around adding premier FA's every season. You can't get better and win a Super Bowl without doing that. Or so I have been led to believe...

What big FAs did we bring in last year? I think that turned out ok. Free agents aren't a bad thing, but it's such an overrated time of year. So much cap space gets wasted in name free agents that teams are looking to cut the following year or two. I finally think jerry has figured that out. you build through the draft, and supplement through free agency. Not the other way around, that's how you become the Commanders.

This may be should've been the thinking last offseason but this team proved to be far ahead of the curve then they originally projected. They should be in a win NOW mode. Now i'm not saying mortgage your future to win now. Keep building for the future with the draft by hitting on solid draft picks but you need to find some ways to fill up your holes NOW by picking up guys like a Rolando McClain, Justin Durant and a Jeremy Mincey. Affordable veterans. Don't go all in on a Suh or a Hughes.

Greg Hardy is a solid name but he should in no way command high dollars. IF so than mark him off the list.
