at this point he's liable to be brown baggin it and hanging out with a singing dancing frog in short order.I heard Romo may be looking for work, lol...
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last line says it all Reality, I could see many of teams trying to manipulate the system. The NFL had to deal with this a few years ago with another team and implemented policies for dealing it.
I think the NFL Commissioner has to approve it and it's not a quick decision as it would require looking at his contract, interviewing the coach-player and likely team officials.
The reason is because the NFL doesn't want teams getting around roster/PS limits by storing players on their staff unless/until they need them so they can add them later to their roster.
trueyes but a nice BM vs Montezuma's revenge lol take the best of the worst Levis is it
Tank Lawrence is on another team bud we don't need him anymore!!!
And I said no IMO.I said COULD, you never know what could happen, he'd be a convenient signing, they wouldn't have to look very far!!
As in Dak kinda "bag".at this point he's liable to be brown baggin it and hanging out with a singing dancing frog in short order.

Actually... Yeah. He might be the next Jameis Winston — or a poor man's version.Mr Levis come on down! Another cannon for an arm.

True, but given how a developmental guys rookie deal would align with Daks, it might be about a year…possibly two….too soon for that to make sense.NAH!! time to move forward not backward. rather have true developmental player than another part timer. we have Howell for that.
Kinda surprised they gave up on him so soonWill Levis career stats:
21 games started (missed 2025 due to injury), 5-16 record, 339/556 passing (61.0 percent), 3899 yards, 21 TD's, 16 picks, 82.7 rating.
In his last season played (2024) he was 2-10 with the Titans with 13 TDs and 12 picks.
If we even got desperate, he knows the system I think. I wonder how hard it would be for him to come out of retirement?? Maybe they don't trust any of the guys on the list

That's a neat piece of history I didn't knowBTW, Dan Reeves was the NFL's last player-coach in 1970 when he was a RB and an assistant coach for the Cowboys.
Only when your team with an eagle wins!!Over-react much?
Hadn’t thought of that. I saw it as a possible advantage when Greer was first added as a coach….then again not completely unprecedented with Kellen Moore, but I figuring this is moot now with Milton back in the fold. The NFL had to deal with this a few years ago with another team and implemented policies for dealing it.

No, Grier is not an option.
Levis may be interesting. Could he be better than Milton?
