Country Music?

A little taste of Elvin Bishop - really Chicago Blues Rock but it has a country flavor so it seemed to fit here.

featuring the immortal pete drake on his steel guitar.
from the guitar man sessions in '67...featured here on his soundtrack lp clambake as a "bonus" song.

shame a full length album from these '67 sessions wasn't released.
with tracks like this one,guitar man,big boss man,hi-heel sneekers...it woulda been a good'n.

recorded at american studios in mempis.
1969.
one of my favorite tracks from his great from Elvis in memphis album.
the king was back,baby.

another excellent cut from the brilliant american sessions and the immortal lp from them.

Okay, let's end this discussion right here. I give you the best Country song of all time--David Allan Coe's "Bossier City". You're welcome. (Sorry if this prompts tears and sends you into depression. It will get better in time.)
