I think lot of their basis is also due to Texas Stadium. Texas Stadium is not really an intimidating place to play. Whenever I go to the games, it seems the crowd made more noise when WE were on offense.

Funny thing is when I attend games sometimes I meet people that's not from this country.

I disagree. Almost every Cowboy fan I've met in Virginia is extremely knowledgeable about our team. I can't think of one who isn't.

I'm guessing you are talking about people you see at a Cowboys hangout bar where they all watch the Cowboys play. :laugh2:

The problem with Cowboys fans as a whole is that we're diluted with a lot of bandwagon fans .. and no, I am not referring to the users who post here. I'm talking about the guy walking down the street who has on a Cowboys shirt yet can only name 1 or 2 players (Romo/Owens) on the Cowboys at best.

Don't confuse people who wear sports team attire with fans. I know people who wear jerseys because they're loose and comfortable. They don't consider themselves to be fans of any team. Even a bandwagoner knows more about the Cowboys than a jersey wearer.

Because they play in cold weather? And really, football is all you have in places like Buffalo, Green Bay, Chicago etc. In the south, you can go swimming 365 days a year, or go running in December, up north, well, it snows.

It is sad, but a lot of the haters are so obsessed with Dallas that they know more about the Cowboys than their own team of choice. Now that's really sad.
