whats up cowboy fans,dont be fooled about how the Commanders 1st preseason game went last night..our starters on defense dominated the bengals offense,and dont give me the carlson palmer didnt play.cause my starting defense lived in the backfield and would have crushed palmer..wright was the unlucky guy last night and he can scramble..now my starting offense moved the ball real well,besides the mix up with brunell and brandon,the starting offense made plays..now when the backups came in,it was different story..but the Commanders starters played well...what was your take on the starters...not the backups?

Well, when you blitz about every play in a game which is not game planned, then I guess any defense can look good. I think they looked ok, but seems you are trying to get support to think you have a SB caliber D. Tap the brakes a little there, it was only the 1st practice game. And I will give you the "PALMER DID NOT PLAY" thing. A. Wright is a journyman QB, not the same and scrambling has nothing to do with it.

I thought your offense looked pretty decent at times, but not on the same page at times, but that is what camp is for.

My take is we didn't see the starters long enough to tell anything... but we sure did learn that what I've been saying all along is the absolute truth-- the Skins' backups SUCK... if you guys get hurt, it will be a long, long season...

But hey, nice attempt at spinning a piss-poor effort by your team...

They gave up 310 yards, and 19 points... "good" is a bit of an exaggeration, I think...

folks i could care less on who wins preseason games,i dont care if we are winless in preseason..

That makes sense... but of course, you want your team to PLAY WELL, and of course the Skins didn't...

all i care about is how my starters played

If you care about that in the first preseason game of the year, you're a fool...

and certain key backups...last night my starters on defense look in mid season form,

If you pass judgement based on one freakin' QUARTER of play, you're a fool... Cincinnati wasn't doing any game planning, any more than the Skins are... they just went out there with "vanilla" offensive and defensive schemes... example-- the Cowboys' first series, they lost yardage, just generally looked like hammered crap... didn't keep them from racking up 335 yards of total offense, though...

I would think WILLIAMS would have played the BENGALS with a BASE D because of the fact A. WRIGHT was in there... how do u evaluate BLITZING a player that most teams pray will not play?

If u notivce the Cowboys D... the Hawks went 4 wide and the Cowboys stayed in base d!!! its called evaluation!!!


I dont know if u know this but the BENGALS D overall is not very good and most betting pros see them as an weekly OVERs LOCK!!!

the Skins dont have enough talent to play BASE D... I will tell u this if u think a healthy PALMER is the same as A.WRIGHT then there is no need to talk about this...



but look on the bright side... last year, the Skins won 6 in a row including a playoff game on the road and if the season was 18 games they would have won the DIVISION... therefore giving them more confidence to BEAT the HAWKS and the STEELERS!!!!

LOL@ this cat finding the need to defend his squad to another. No offense redskins1, but while you may be concerned I don't think the Boys fans are saying "oh that's it we're sweeping the Skins now!" Are u maybe a little scared? Man up dukes.
