Cowboy Killers

johnny utah

The Boys go up against the Vikes and Cowboy killer Randy Moss this weekend. So it got me thinking who are some of the all time players whom always gave the Boys problems. I have to nominate Lynn Swann.

How about Paul Warfield.

His play, as well as Leroy Kelly and the rest of the Cleveland Browns knocked out the Cowboys in the 1968 and 1969 seasons.

Joe Lavendar and Diron Talbert gave the Cowboys fitts in the 1970s. However, Jim Hart and Terry Metcalf of the St. Louis Cardinals really were the nemesis (outside of Pittsburgh) of the Cowboys.

Wilbert Montgomery of the Eagles was a pain in the neck in the early 1980s.

Tiki Barber????

Ron dayne had one good play in his NFL career to help beat us in overtime

How about Mcnabb before last season

Lito Sheppard? one of the conerbacks for the eagles i think it was lito sheppard someone correct me if im thinking of the wrong guy

I always thought that Marlboro Red's were cowboy killers...

Craig

Maybe it's just blending in my head with other big games he had, but seems like Roy Green always killed us.

I disagree with this one. Miss (yes misspelled intentionally) has burned the Cowboys, but he isn't a Cowboys killer. The Cowboys have shut him down before. A killer is someone who burns you almost every single time you play them.

Like Lito Sheppard. It was practically a given that Lito was going to get an INT in every game he played against the Cowboys when he was with the Eagles.

In 10 games vs Dallas, Moss averages 6 catches per game and 92 yards. Maybe not a Cowboys killer, but still someone we have trouble stopping.
