Yea, you're either not seeing the play or not understanding what we're actually saying.
The CB released Dez to cover Zeke who was running into the flats. Simultaneously Collins is getting beat off the right edge, and Cooper is getting beat on a stunt on the left side. So no, the ball would not have been in the air before the CB released Dez because Dak would've been able to stand in the pocket for another second or two for a one on one shot down the sideline, streaking Dez vs. safety. The guy in the tweet is 100% right.
You're oblivious...... Unless the ball is in the the air, the split second the CB release Dez.... That play is dead.... I guess that you overlooked the fact of the S hips being positioned on Dez? That S is ready to jump that route to Dez
I don't care how you want to frame it...or think I don't understand

Last post was your cue to stop quoting meLook, S doesn't rotate his hips to Brice until Dak is flushed.... I can't make it any more simple for you to understand. Unless you're a Dr & know that safety can run the other way his hips aren't going
The S didn't go off Dez until the pocket broke down.... So, if the pocket holds, that S is sticking to Dez.......its a wide open TD to Brice, Brice is gonna Y his route into a post Instead of crossing the SLast post was your cue to stop quoting me
Im not even reading what you're saying I just see you keep quoting me and I dont understand why. Get off my damn dickThe S didn't go off Dez until the pocket broke down.... I don't know what y'all gurus are seeing here.....what, exact clue I am missing G?
This stuff infuriates me. How many years have these guys played in this same defensive system at this point? So much back and forth about a dumb play call, but this is what gets us beat. It's unacceptable.
Saddest part is this defense was chosen because it was "simple" to learn and implement so that the players can play fast without thinking too much. They said this when Ryan was fired implying it was too complicated.
I'll leave the son of Buddy Ryan stuff alone, since you know how I feel about that guy, but, yeah. This is pretty simple stuff to be struggling with in week 5, here.
I get having a half step back with the DL play, since we did lose a couple guys who were underrated a little bit in McClain and Jack Crawford there and had Moore and Irving suspended. And the secondary taking some time to gel is reasonable, given the changes and the number of young players we're playing. I don't understand who the LB play has been so bad. With Lee and Hitchens out, we're missing out best two LBs. But I'd have bet good money Damien Wilson was going to take another step forward. He's been a non-issue. Jaylon has been a liability. What happened to Durant? We cut Nzeocha. It's like all of them crapped out, all at once, here. Can't tackle, can't cover, can't take the ball away.
