I'd have thought that this year would have shown people that it wasn't the running back that led us to 13-3.Well using that logic then yeah, but I don't rue that move as much because Ramsey would not have gotten us to 13-3 last year like zeke did.
If we had Ramsey and Howard last year, I think we would have gone 13-3 and been better set up for the future.
Looking that way, Syd.If we had Ramsey and Howard last year, I think we would have gone 13-3 and been better set up for the future.

Its logically inconsistent to say we won in 2016 because we had Zeke and were losing this year even though we have Zeke but because of the defense.
It goes to show... Once again... That passing differential and not rushing efficiency is predictive in thr W/L column which many of us have insisted for 18 months.
No. Howard would have. And he’d be playing, still. And in Syd’s scenario, we also have Ramsey.McFadden and Morris would have ran like Elliott did?
Give me a break.

How so?You guys are crazy.
How so?
Please, explain.
“You guys are crazy” doesn’t cut it, hoss.
And if you follow any of my posts, you know I defend this team.
Please, elaborate. And please, know who Howard is (and dont use this last sentence as a sounding-off point).
Hmm?
Last year, sure. And I like Zeke.Howard is not even near the talent Elliott is.
Elliott >>>>> Howard.
And having a very good safety in Ramsey is a good thing to have but wouldn't have had that major impact like Elliott did.
Elliott kept our defense off the field significantly.
We are talking about the leading rusher here. He played on a MVP level. Guys forget quick over here.
That's a specious argument. And a strong threat of running can heavily impact passing differential (at least one side of it).
Not to split hairs here but isn't Ramsey a CB and not a safety?Howard is not even near the talent Elliott is.

Even if we NEEDED am elite RB/running game to have success we showed in 2014 (and guys like David Johnson in 2015 and guys like Ajayi and Howard 2016 and guys like Hunt in 2017) with Murray that you don't need to spend a top 4 pick on a rb to get that production. You just absolutely do not.Howard is not even near the talent Elliott is.

He was considered an elite prospect at both positions. Not to split hairs here but isn't Ramsey a CB and not a safety?
Ramsey is a stud, Toruk. A damned studHe was considered an elite prospect at both positions.
Some even tried to use this as a negative against him... Because elite versatility is bad or something.
You’ve always held fast to your laurels. You’re a great poster, brotherHe was considered an elite prospect at both positions.
