I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he's saying Jordan Howard would have, not Morris and DMC. Howard did run for over 1,300 on an inferior Bears team in only about 11-12 games as their feature back so I'm inclined to say he's making a fair point

Kuechly over Claiborne would be the most obvious choice considering what we got out of that early first-rounder. Collins is better than Jones and Elliott getting suspended might have some picking Ramsey, but nothing's settled with those choices. Claiborne had his moments here but was mainly a washout due to injuries. Of course, Kuechly has had some of his own.

Interesting move - I thought Paea retiring would mean we weren't obligated to pay him for the remaining games. IR would change that I believe.

Hindsight blah blah, I still wish we went kuechly, and later Ramsey, jack while resigning Murray. Still wish we didn't trade up for dlaw. I'll own the Gregory thing I wanted him and was wrong but I'm still doing better than our front office when it comes to the first two rounds.

Our linebackers would be kuechly jack and Lee in any position (though Luke would probably middle, Lee strong, jack weak) we'd have Ramsey and probably Lewis with scandrick in slot. Even if our safeties and Dline are the same we are noticeably better on D with this configuration and we could have used the awuzie pick for anything, to trade up in the first for the pass rusher we really wanted or whatever.
