IF Wentz is better than Dak, it ain’t by much. I am sorry Wentz homers, I have seen him play and he is not the second coming, at least not yet.

A few thoughts...

A) Wentz was perceived as the better prospect coming out of school and so recent opinions die hard.
2) As we stand here today Wentz has done nothing to make any of these guys need to change their opinion.
3) The upset feelings in this thread because of this tweet are silly. Get out of your feelings everyone
4) Let's posit for a second that Wentz is better than Dak. Fine. Would you rather have Dak in the 4th or Wentz in the 1st at the cost of a 2016 3rd round pick, a 2017 1st round pick and a 2018 2nd round pick?*

*(This is the most favorable interpretation of the Eagles haul if you factor in the Sam Bradford heist and a close exchange of a 4th round pick from last year for a 4th or 5th round pick this year)

A bonus thought. It not being "close" isn't how this works. If you polled 8 mathematicians they'd all tell you that the number 1.1 is greater than the integer 1. It'd be unanimous. That doesn't mean the numbers aren't close.

That is impossible. I have heard he can do things that no other qbs in the history of NFL can do. I heard it on this board so it must be true.

Why is this a surprise. Wentz was the number two pick in the draft and the eagles gave up a fortune to get him. Dak was a a throw away supplemental fourth rounder. It’s silly to make an apple to apple comparison

From what i have read the Owners they are talking bout are the Owners on the committee. But Very few will mention that. But most are trying to make it seem this is league wide. While some are probably annoyed by him being so public. Its known there is a good chunk who agree what he's arguing about.
 
The Patriots had the deck stacked against them last year. We have the deck stacked against us. The best way to shut up Roger is to win.
 
I was watching NBC and both Rodney Harrison and Tony Dungy gave a slight edge to Dak but said they were pretty close. If Green hadn't totally tanked at left tackle against the Falcons we wouldn't be talking about this. Last year when Lane Johnson got suspended the Eagle offense went in the tank and Wentz looked awful.

When Dak was not drafted until the 4th round, 32 GM’s in the NFL were wrong. NFL GM’s are wrong all the time. Those 7 GM’s under valued Dak then and they are still under valueing him. Dak has been every bit as good as Wentz. Look at QB ratings,how many more rushing TD’s Dak has than Wentz, etc. Also, I’m tired of hearing how much more talent Dak has around him than Wentz. Talent around him includes coaching. The Ugles coaches make playing QB so much easier for Wentz than our coaches do for Dak. Just look at last weeks game where our coaches never helped our struggling( I’m being kind ) back up tackles by chipping. Dak had no chance last week. Would the Ugles, let alone any other coaching staff allow that to happen to their QB?

32 GMs were wrong about Brady also including the GM who finally picked him in the 6th rd. You just never know. Both are good qbs but I hope Dak has better career with tons of SBs because he is a Cowboy.

Yes he’s out. Not official, but I’d say about a 1% chance to play

But in typical Sean Lee fashion, he likely suits up, stands alone and keeps his helmet on for 60 minutes
