Jalen Ramsey. :(

I remember all the people here who said he couldn't play. No turnovers they said. His elite projection as a cb OR safety made him a man without a home they said.

Imagine our defense with Ramsey in place of Heath.

But what about our offense without Zeke can you imagine it? Yes, actually. It's called Sunday against the Chiefs.

:(

I agree. But I doubt Ramsey is that dominant in this defense. This is a passive defense. He plays in a very aggressive scheme with lots of talent.

The problem is the pizza sucks.

It doesn't have to all that good, just decent. It is successful because it is convenient. It's a great business.
Like McDonalds...can you make a better hamburger at home, yes. Are there better hamburgers out there, hell yes.

But it is convenient, can others make hamburgers cheaper at these other places and as fast, no.
Same for pizza, tacos, or whatever. They do not need to be great, just decent tasting (to most people), chip (though not all that cheap anymore) and convenient / fast.

I do not go to these places very often, once every 6 months or so. I rather go in and sit at a nice restaurant for a few dollars more and get a better meal. But don't eat out much either.

It's chain pizza. They are all average pizza. It's an NFL problem if one of the sponsors decides to pull ads because sales have decreased. It doesn't matter why the sales are decreasing all that matters is the NFL is no longer getting that money.
Now if you're Papa John's and worrying about your own business then you gotta worry about why the sales are decreasing. If in fact sales have dropped along with the decline in NFL ratings its kind of hard not to fault the decline in ratings.
I actually think this move was to help increase sales. I kbow I am going out of my way Saturday to buy Papa John's pizza and wings for guys poker night just to show some love. I gotta support them for doing there part in getting Goodell out of town

Why did we release Terrance Mitchell again?
Per Broaddus:
Bryan: There are several corners getting an opportunity to play in the nickel role, so I wouldn’t read too much into that. As far as Mitchell, they tried him at a couple of different spots and it just wasn’t going the right direction.

I am going to go with too much talent out there. Just dripping with talent. Logjam. Progress being stopped everywhere.

This wouldn't shock me in the least.

Because the reasons given are patently true.

The fact is that Jerry Jones make the money, and Roger Goodell takes the money.

Jones is a savvy businessman that makes himself and the other owners rich.

Roger Goodell is a bumbling buffoon who hasn't handled a single item that's come across his desk the right way since the CBA. He's been coasting off of that victory for years. And that wave has reached the shore.

Jerry Jones has taken the sad, backwards, behind the times franchises and owners like the Bengals and Browns, and helped them to make more money, in more ways, that they themselves could ever dream of.

Heck, the guy has stepped in and settled stadium issues and increased revenue where everyone else had failed.

Meanwhile, Roger Goodell has made every bad situation a much worse situation. He's dragged the league through the courts and bad publicity for years now. Turning millions of diehard fans off of the product and establishing himself as the face of hate.

He continues to mishandle - or not handle at all - each and every challenge faced by the league under his watch. And yet, he makes $40+ million a year?

No matter what else happens, that clown needs to go.
Great post stash!

Did he have OTF issues, pre-draft?

I don’t remember honestly. I just found it odd that he was benched Monday night out of nowhere for a guy who never played before.

They got their nickel corner back Monday in Steven Nelson.

I imagine they get really aggressive on defense Sunday because of the lack of Zeke.

People hated on our scheme and our inability to generate pressure....until we got seasoned talent and suddenly you can get pressure. I suspect the same is true here. There is no scheme to cover lack of talent. The goal is to get more talented which gives scheme's versatility.

Ramsey would be a tremendous piece here alongside guys like Lewis.

Sad!

He got benched Sunday for a guy who never played before. Bloggers/writers in kc are speculating it was an off the field issue.

Mitchell was terrible here and still has a lot of the same issues. He holds a LOT. I mean A LOT. If he is playing a lot, we will target him and destroy him.

Why did we release Terrance Mitchell again?

Terrence Mitchell was drafted by the Cowboys a few years back. I thought he had a pretty good camp, and was surprised when they released him. Oh well.

Mitchell was a PI machine. He was very handsy in college and with the Cowboys. He showed promise though and was surprised they did not try to develop him.

I was highly surprised when they caught him.

And I think it needs to continue. Other NFL partners need to say the same thing. Roger Goodell and his methods are simply bad for business. No two ways about it.

Won't change, not gonna change. They can't make them. Keep kneeling
