Unless OBJ takes a quantum leap, it is highly unlikely he can be effective Sunday.

Of course, the Giants could decide to suit him up for limited routes or as a decoy. At this point, however, I think the team may take the longer-term view and try to get him right for Week 2 or 3.

That's the difference between Garrett and Belicheck. Garrett felt the need to get permission first. The Patriots just decided to announce 7 and send them out there tonight until the league tells them they can't. Even then, I doubt they will care. They will just pay the fine. They dont need permission for anything. They do what they want until caught and stopped.
