They were just stonewalled on a 3rd and 1. They are pinned way back on their own 30. The defense has been holding the Rams down. The sexy play is to go for it but realistically, you have to punt in that situation. (The main thing was the field position)

that's not true - hurd fell down at the point of impact and should have had the tackle there.

this has been a putrid performance by the OL in the first half...they cant block their way out of a wet paperbag today...two 3rd and 1's where we got mauled.....Tony Sporano should be going off on these guys, but isnt

just a lousy first half in all phases so far

Thompson looks worse this year than he ever has before, IMO. Maybe we should let Austin have a try at returning them.
