CowboysZone Mock Draft

GREEN BAY is on the clock at #23

Vote how you think the team WILL draft (not how they should draft)

I'll provide at least 8 choices for each team (sorry if I don't include your favorite and you're welcome to email me suggestions prior to a team's choice)

I'll leave the option out there for at least 4 hours unless it is so unanimous that I can go on to the next team. When we move on, I'll make a post saying the counting for that draft slot has ended and what the verdict is

Results so far

1. St. Louis, SAM BRADFORD, QB, Oklahoma
2. Detroit, NDAMUKONG SUH, DT, Nebraska
3. Tampa Bay, GERALD McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
4. Washington, RUSSELL OKUNG, OT, OK. St.
5. Kansas City, BRYAN BULAGA, OT, Iowa
6. Seattle, ERIC BERRY, S, Tennessee

I'm not sure where to go here. They need another CB and have OL issues. But they are pretty good about taking Best Player available. Although I know dallas would attempt to trade up, I'm not sure GB would let us (unlike a couple of other teams earlier). Kindle, Pouncey, Matthews and Thomas all seem equally good here.

I think ET fits BPA, so, I'll say (again)

Earl Thomas, S, Texas

OL, especially OT is a HUGE need for Green Bay, a much bigger need than safety.

Charles Brown.

True...so is a CB and another pass rusher, but I'm thinking they take BPA (as the always do) that addresses as moderate need. Plenty of good choices, either way.

GB takes Charles Brown, who they have a high grade on due to his fit in their zone blocking scheme. He fills a huge need.

Just my two cents: If Earl Thomas falls this far, I see Green Bay getting an extra pick from the Eagles in order to switch picks and fend off Dallas. Either way, my next two picks would be that ET goes to the Eagles and Charles Brown goes to the Packers.

Makes sense...but could GB get more from Dallas than Philly since Dallas has to move up further? If so, would GB take the best deal?

They need to give Aaron Rodgers some help. Guy was getting killed out there. They can use any line help at this point, so I'm going with the guy that I have graded higher due to versatility.

Brown, because we are all hoping Thomas keeps falling.

:laugh2: Weak, but funny...or sad.
ET will be long gone < Dallas anyway....both Philly and Baltimore would snag him if available.

Thomas still available? Some wishful thinking slash manipulating going on.

Packers take Charles Brown. Thomas is BPA but they need OL help.

I think two things would work against Dallas here. The Eagles have a lot more picks that they can package and the Packers may not want to fall back too far and risk losing out on Brown. The move makes a ton of sense for the Packers simply because they are getting an extra pick (or picks) with no chance to miss out on their primary target.

Instead of crying about it, why don't you provide some actual analysis on where people are manipulating. All this has done so far is give Thomas to the Eagles or Ravens.
