I think Gurode's value goes down a bit if we move him to guard.. he's clearly not as good at that position for whatever reason.

How far of a drop-off do you think Pouncey would have going from Center to Guard? I think it would make more sense to leave 'Dre at Center and move Pouncey to guard.

They say Pouncey is just as good at Guard, but was needed more at Center at Florida.

I agree, the guy can come in and start day one at guard and center and will be a perennial probowler.. I'm not wasting a first round selection on a safety

So what is everones love affair with Pouncey all about? Im not knocking, just looking for honest opinions. I see him as a good prospect, but his pick here at 27 shouldnt be a no brainer compared to the other prospects available in my opinion.

I see a lot of people saying he can start at day 1. Doesnt the fact that Florida's offense is about as far away from a pro offense possible worry anyone? Also, the fact that he only snapped the ball traditionally a hand full of times in his career doesnt worry anyone? His measurables and workout times also arent exactly jaw dropping. So someone please enlighten me as to why Pouncey is the obvious pick for us.
