Because the choice we are discussing is Carter vs. Durant. You lock up youth. Especially when it comes with elite athleticism.

You said he is immature, a distraction and can't learn the playbook. How do I even attempt to respond other than to say I disagree vehemently.

He isn't getting Calvin money. He will get more than Wallace money. And he deserves it.

Murray may be a goner though if a team offers him something substantial. As good as he's been, and as much as I'd hate to see him go, RB's are a dime-a-dozen. Have to let him walk in that case.

Finding them are. If it was that easy, every team would have one.

Production comes more from scheme and usage than just ability. Most teams have RBs as talented as Murray, some have more than one. That is why they have gone to committees and don't put all their eggs in one basket.

Murray can stay on the field for all 3 downs which is a plus. But give most of these young RBs the time to develop and they will improve in the passing game.

Just to throw it out there, I'd love it if we could sign Jared Odrick away from Miami in the offseason. I think he will be a lot cheaper than Suh and probably much better in the locker room. I'm not sure how Miami uses their DTs, but I think Odrick could easily play the 1 or the 3 here, but would be an ideal 1 tech since he can rush the passer.

Murray's great but our O-Line has more to do with his success than your giving them credit for.

It will be hard to invest money in Leary-I understand he has been great but his knee condition is not a good investment.

The only way this happens is if he comes on the super cheap.
