Likely because since some of the lower teams needed offensive players that are now gone, It increases the chances of them reaching for another offensive player

If guys that weren't projected to go before 28 start coming off the board I will agree. But every one of these picks has been projected to be picked before we are up. If guys like Cook, Peppers, another QB, etc start coming off than maybe good defensive guys will get pushed down. But I expect to see a defensive run soon....too many players much more highly rated there.
