That was an interesting list of the 8 top rated players from last week.

There were two Cowboys and three 49ers. There was Dalton Schultz, good for him.

The 49ers RB, WR and LT were three of the 8 top rated players last week in all NFL games which included 22 starters from each team. That's 704 players.

It's going to look very impressive when the Cowboys win on Sunday.

People told us that they reached on the pick.
See this is why I’m not panicking on Mazi. The “experts” have no clue how players are going to pan out and who will thrive where. It’s all a gamble. I will say we as a franchise has turned a corner on our drafting. We had some poor drafts after Troy retired. We kind of hit bottom on drafting then steadily have improved to one of the best teams.

I remember that. A number of CZ members insisted Travis Frederick was a so-called "reach".
Lol. Yep that was me. I didn’t think he was a reach I just thought we needed a safety and could have gotten Frederick later. Yep glad I was wrong in that one.

But wait, doesn't everyone here sneer at PFF's grades? ;)

It can change during the course of the regular season. It's exciting and comforting that we have a good number of high quality players.

I thought the same thing when I saw this thread. Even your first round picks might need some time to develop every now and then. Keep him on the field this year to get as much experience as possible and then it's harvest time next season.

With the many things I don't like about this organization, our draft strategy and how we use our draftees ain't one of them. Despite the occasional 2nd round miss.

And the Giants drafted Evan Neal at 7.

What is pathetic about a team that has a chance to be special? That 2022 draft could very well put them over the hump.
Over the hump would have been Wagner but that draft is looking very good at this point.

I wish they would stop moving Tyler around and leave him at guard.

You could also say that about Bland.
Dallas has been hitting on a lot of players lately. If they had a redraft, do you think Bland would make it anywhere near the 5th round?

Same with Tyler Smith. Evan Neal goes at #7, Smith at 26. The two are going in opposite directions. I guess we're lucky we picked late, or else it would have been us that got Neal.

The 2022 draft is shaping up as something special.

-T Smith, road grader, who can move and maul
-Bland, thief and baller
-Ferguson, all-around get-it-done tight end
-S Williams, if he gets his head screwed on straight.
-A possibly emerging J Tolbert
-Damone Clark, fleet sideline-2-sideline LB

That, my friends is a hella haul, esp. when one considers we were working from the bottom end of each round.
