The Giants have a bunch of highly drafted offensive line busts. And the Giants drafted Evan Neal at 7.
McClay hit on every one, including more in the later rounds.

They did? I don't remember hearing that.People told us that they reached on the pick.
Hey, watch that "everyone" thing. Got a bet w/ a bud that the Texans will win 9 games made preseason. Only the ones who didn't pay attention thought they'd be weak.Interesting fact is SF has 3 players from offense and we have 2. Bills and Houston have 2 each.
Houston is probably not as weak as everyone thought.
If only Will could stop the Kelvin Joseph type picks. They said the same about Travis Frederick and others.
Will McClay is the heart and soul of this franchise right now, which is both awesome and pathetic.
Every team has those, but yeah, enough of the criminal picks. If only Will could stop the Kelvin Joseph type picks.
As a LG - praying we don’t turn him loose at LT. Not where he belongs.Cowboys first-round pick in 2022, Tyler Smith, has the chance to be the next great offensive lineman for this team.
Of every offensive player in week four, Smith was the highest-rated player, with a Pro Football Focus grade of 93.7.

Same here.I actually thought this post was about Bland lol.
People told us that they reached on the pick.
It's funny because you have one player from the Conference USA and one from the Mountain West, but if you ask most of the posters around here, you can only find talent in the SEC. lolYou could also say that about Bland.
End of last year I was all for moving on from Schultz and going with Ferguson as our starter. PFF had the rookie Ferguson as comparable to Schultz the franchised vet. Should just be expected to get better. I didn't see the need at all to draft a TE early. For one game's grade. Ferguson has higher PFF grades on the year, which I think says it all.
Ferguson is a better blocker and more athletic, IMO.
Tyler Smith is looking like a home run at G. PFF has him rated #1 G in the league. The Giants have a bunch of highly drafted offensive line busts.

Dude was a false start machine in college. He’s been amazing.Tyler Smith is already our best O-linemen.

I see 3 SF players on that list.
Yeah, some of those 2nd rounders have been a bit precarious. LOLI thought the same thing when I saw this thread. Even your first round picks might need some time to develop every now and then. Keep him on the field this year to get as much experience as possible and then it's harvest time next season.
With the many things I don't like about this organization, our draft strategy and how we use our draftees ain't one of them.
Despite the occasional 2nd round miss.
