Another team probably did a waiver claim so they pulled him back.

It was a misunderstanding on Winfrey's part. Something a coach had said to him about being his last chance.



Winfrey got teary-eyed, and that caused Schotty and McClay to as well.

It's actually pretty close to what I wanted with a few exceptions.

Glad they kept Mafah, Flournoy, Winfery and Houston.

Disappointed they cut Izzy and kept Booth.

They will end up putting one or two corners on the practice squad. Depends on what's out there but Mukuamu & Hall still could be on the practice squad. Doubt either is picked up.

Mazi should of been cut. Shotty said he had to talk to him telling him he needs to be more active. REALLY You have to tell a guy to get going. He usually won't. Mazi in his 3rd year. He is what he is. IMHO...A guy who doesn't want to play football.

He has a GTD rookie contract.

Its a 2M+ cap hit to cut him this year.

Then they have to find another DT. League min is 1M

So its a 3M+ hit just to replace Mazi.

Seriously, it doesn’t make sense to keep Mazi on the payroll. Big deal he’s on a rookie contract, it doesn’t change the fact that the dude is worthless!

They waited until 13 other backs were selected in the strongest RB class in a decade before selecting a scat back out of Texas. Lamb and Pickens will terrify nobody as long as Dakota is throwing the ball. What Lamb and Pickens might have done though is freed some space for a bell cow running back that Dallas doesn't have. I get that you can get it done without superstars at tailback, but Rico would have been a superstar amongst this group.

Running back by committee DUD approach. The moves this offseason tell me Dallas is rebuilding. Not serious about making the playoffs.

If Williams is back to his rookie form and Blue becomes what the Cowboys expect, it's not pathetic. Not great, but certainly good enough.

If Williams was going to show hebhsd anything keftbitbwould have been last year. Broncos had one of the f the best run blocking and he didn't do squat. He now has an online that is worse and will show everyone exactly what sanders showed and thatd that they are on the decline.

Williams I'm ready to give a chance, if for no other reason than because he hasn't played a snap. I've watched Blue his entire career and I know what he brings to the position. He's a RB3 at best and that's not a knock on him. Teams need a RB1, RB2, and RB3. I just don't know that Dallas has the 1-2. I can not believe this is what they are lining up against the Eagles. To have gotten better at WR, deeper at OL, and then to just ignore the RB room is beyond incompetent.
