I am still a bit confused on why they release Lai collins...he seemed pretty versatile

Maybe they will sign him after week one, they probably didn't want his salary guaranteed

I don't get the want to have Collins back, dude looked injured to me and he wasn't impressive but what ever. Also, don't get the constant whining about Mazi, if there's no replacement why not talk about the GM.

Obvious cuts so far, waiting to see if they actually trade for a position of need.

With the exception of Broeker and Matthews I can see all of them coming back to the PS. Daxon still has his exemption.

How many can we have on the practice squad? This is just the first easy picked round.

Preseason is to evaluated the bottom of the roster. No need to risk injury to players you already know that are going to make the team.

I’m not getting the Mafah infatuation. Yes, he’s a downhill, contact runner, but doesn’t look to me like he has good vision.

On his TD run, Blue bounced outside and took the defender 1 on 1 rather than just run up the backs if stymied OL.

On the other side, Mafah later in either 3rd or 4th and short, just ran up the OL’s backs when there was a huge hole to the right. RBs either have vision or they don’t. It’s not a learned trait.

If a good one is cut they won't be on the street longer than 5 minutes.

They would be traded for that matter.

Well, it certainly didn’t look like a sucker hole to me. Looked much better space than Blue’s, especially given Mafah’s physicality.

Mingo could get moved to IR. So that would leave 29.
I think maybe Carson gets moved to IR also. He has had an injury, kept him out of TC. I think a hyperextended knee.

Mazi is Danny Noonan 2.0, super strong but a really bad football player who will eventually get cut because he just doesn't make plays.

You must believe no evaluations take place at practice, during drills, scrimmages, 1's bs 1's.

When do you think Booker became the starting RG? After we drafted him or after his 1 or 2 series in preseason during week 3???

Mazi should have been on this list, he's a 1st rd bust who has been taking valuable time on the DL away from other players who actually might have a chance to make the Cowboy team or the Practice Squad.
