it needs to be more "elite" if we plan on going further this season, than last. His catch rate in 2016 was over 70%, which is straight-up elite.
Listed 0 drops for the season.I think his hands are high inconsistent, but he is like a gazelle and can run all day and knows the playbook. Seems to be good and running routes and isn't a knucklehead and will block. I think pretty good to keep him.
Still on the table for round 1 IMO.
Williams is basically making #3 WR money. Butler and Whitehead can be cut in preseason. You love X WR at 27, you take him move him into Butlers slot, then move Williams into the #4 slot the next year
I saw 4 years 17 mil. While I don't think he is the best #2 out there, he was worth this deal. Good job.
I wanted Dallas to upgrade from TWill at WR2 and thought they would do so, but for the price he resigned at I'm fine with this. They will draft a WR also and bring Andy Jones up from the PS to compete with Brice Butler.
Overall Dallas is going for value and I'm fine with that. Swapping out Paea for McClain is probably an upgrade at a lower price, swapping out Carroll for either Claiborne or Carr is probably a push but at a lower price. Moore at DE is just a flyer.
They still have plenty of cap room and draft picks, if they are going to make big move it won't happen at this part of the offseason - and it could be after the draft.
They will draft a WR in the lower rounds (5-7) to compete with the undrafted FAs for the 5h spot.
