Cowboys and Bills Pass Rush Stats

No question we are a better defense with Von Miller, but even w/o him, we are pretty damn good.

I don’t know if there is no question. It’s like the Raiders….now doubt they are better on paper with Devante Adams but they sit here 0-3.

While I get what you are saying, there is no way to know how this team would be with him on it. I agree we are good without him, but to say we couldn't be even better (or worse) with him would be purely speculation. Especially since we went into the season with enough cap space to cover him if we wanted.

That being said, I am glad we didn't sign him to what he got from the Bills and am not complaining with where we are on defense as is.

Appreciate you putting that together though.

Cowboys have played 3 of the weaker Olines in the NFL the first 3 weeks. I would wait until we play some good offenses before we start hailing them. Bucs were able to run the ball on us regardless. Then we will have to contain the running QB's. Had a hard time doing that with Jones for the Giants and he isnt even a good one.

The player Miller would have directly replaced is Fowler, so looking at how their pressure numbers compare might be a better gauge than our pass rush vs. theirs. Even that isn't really accurate, though, because having a pass rusher like Parsons opens things up for other pass rushers.

I believe that our pass rush would be even better with Miller, and all I care about is making this team as good as it can be because that gives us a better chance of accomplishing the only goal that is important, winning another Super Bowl.

OK, neither Dallas nor Philthy has a RP penalty. Unnecessary Roughness Dallas has 2 and Philthy 1 .

Maybe Philthy defense is just a step slower than Dallas'.

Well Dallas can't hit the QB without it being a sack as much as other teams because the refs would have a flag fest.

Armstrong/Lawrence/Parsons/Williams/Miller would've made us deeper at DE than we've been since probably 1995.

The league would've written a new rule about how many times you're allowed to sack the QB.

If we maintain a 34% pressure rate all year those ints are gonna go up too
Jones handled the pressure really well but two years ago that pressure on him would have led to 5 turnovers lol
Sacks are the best but pressure creates mistakes so they are huge
