He’s just using the teams as leverage. He knows who he’s going to already.

basically whoever wins Thursday he goes to.
It’s really hard to imagine a world he turns down returning to New York. He knows the city, the fans, most of the roster etc. Maybe their turf and the cold is a reason he won’t return.

Really no reason to pick Dallas as Dallas is likely 6-5 to New Yorks 9-2

The Giants aren't the Cowboys. Never forget that.

I know you're unloading your liver right now because of last week's loss and you have them losing their next 10 but there's a mystique to playing for this team that just isn't there for the other.

If the offers are close he'll pick Dallas.

At 6-5 they’d still be the 8 at worst. Washington plays New York twice. New York plays Philly. Washington plays SF etc

We then get 3 winnable games against Indianapolis, Houston and Jacksonville. So it will be panic at 6-5 followed by back in it at 9-5. They likely need to win 1 of 3 out of Philly, Tennessee and Washington to get #10 and clinch.

sounds like a reasonable path…..but now I’m concerned about Jacksonville and RB Travis Ettiene. He’s averaging over 5.5 yards per carry and I don’t want Lawrence to suddenly find himself playing well against our defense…..I would have put the Jags games solidly in the W column, but now I’m not as confident

I don’t the Colts are a layup anymore either.

Of course Washington gets them with Sam Ehlinger and we get them with a new coach and a fired up Matt Ryan

One name........Daniel Jones, he's a free agent. Are they singing him long-term or drafting a rookie replacement? Either way, I think he's already made up his mind, he just leveraging for better offers.

If OBJ was smart he would give himself a chance to win it all again and sign elsewhere
This is nothing but money grab for OBJ. He is no different than Deion Sanders was.

He will sign with whoever offers the most money. Then say "I feel like they have the best chance..."

The Cowboys have a 98% chance to make the playoffs. They also have the easiest schedule for the final 8 games. If they win today the Cowboys have a real chance to get the number 1 seed in the NFC.

I'd rather we pass on OBJ then pass to OBJ. If you guys want an old broken down, over hyped, wide receiver why not get Dez instead of OBJ.

If the Cowboys sign him the only way it'll interest me is if it's a multi year deal. What may he do next year because this year he's rehabbing his knee. No way is he an impact player in 2022.

If the Cowboys sign him to a multi year deal at market value I'll eat my hat. And a carton of cigarettes.

It’s a Cowboys lose the next two games Odell will sign with the Giants. He doesn’t wanna be part of a loser season

If it were the eagles trying to sign obj, fans would be talking about how they are in win now mode and cowboys/Jerry don't care about winning.

You make a very good point, some of the very same Cowboys fans who are telling Jerry not to sign OBJ, would be going around calling Howie Roseman a "genius" if he found a way to sign OBJ to the Eagles.

While I think this move improves the WR room I don't think this HC and GM are the best match for any team drama that could arise.
The GM, HC and QB have proven they will publicly scapegoat Lamb. What happens when OBJ asks for targets like Coop did?

BUT the most important issue to me is that they should be running more anyway.
NOT passing.
So I'm a NO on this move.

Unless Lamb were to get hurt then I would be okay with it, but otherwise NO.
