You are that impressed with the Giants to say they will automatically 9-2? After we just saw the Eagles lose to the CommanderS?
I think they get to 9-2 then collapse the rest of the year.

Lions are still the Lions. They’ll fight and compete but will lose at the end. We haven’t been good on thanksgiving so that likely swings the other way to them.

I am more worried about Washington in the end then New York. But I feel New York will get to 10-11 and lock up a playoff spot. Where as we’ll be at 9-10 wins and going to have to battle Washington to get in.

Also Washington and Philly being a division game always a layer of difficulty.

Washington and NY have that special formula for winning these games. Lack of turnovers, take the ball away, clock control, run the ball and they are always in it at the end. You could play the Philly / Washington game 100 times and Philly would not turn the ball over that often in 99 of them.

I was gonna say, I remember many instances of people accidentally (or was it accidental?) citing the Eagles as being 9-0 in multiple threads last week. I pointed it out, with someone asking if Washington REALLY has a shot to beat Philly anyway? :muttley:

Just like we were a lock to beat the 3-6, 5-loss-in-a-row Packers. That's why they play the game.

The Giants may very well end up being 9-2. But let's see first.

I am SO BEYOND BORED with this endless “will he, won’t he” OBJ crap. I JUST DON’T CARE! At this point in his career, how much difference can he really make? Millions of dollars, endless discussion, a bottomless series of reviews, pressers, speeches—“OBJ said this, OBJ said that, OBJ had a bowel movement, OBJ said he MAY have an opinion on a proposed press conference next week on what shoe brand he’ll endorse in his first game with his next team, where he nets a whopping 3 catches on 11 targets for 41 yards, before suffering a strained quad that sidelines him until his next new team pilgrimage event for yet another 20 million dollars”…all feeding this arrogant diva’s runaway ego. Rinse, repeat.

Meanwhile, Joe Shmoe forgoes his morning cheese omelette, because a dozen eggs and four sticks of butter costs fifteen bucks…

If OBJ was smart he would give himself a chance to win it all again and sign elsewhere
Assuming that’s an actual possibility
I don’t get the hype for an older player coming off a knee injury who may not even be able to play yet
Maybe the market is more mirage and hype than actual interest
He wants a long term deal and I think that alone takes half the teams out as an option and should take us out as an option

Then he can come here and show it to Dak, Zeke and most of the other Cowboys, that's the closest they'll get to see one anyway.
UMM MM has one, Quinn has one, Jerry has 3, Garett had a few, im sure theres a current player on our team with one..ill go check that out,

so sarcasm aside, they get to see the Lombardi's at the Star and many or our coaches wear their rings im sure..,next

dont need OBJ to view one.

The wide out position is one of the areas of least concern in my opinion.

Just saw no.

Go Cowboys!

This is definitely the type of move you make to shore up your run defense

Well, the more our defense is off the field. The less we have to defend the run.

Also if we're up by 14+ like we were against the Pack, likely teams not like the Pack will run.

Win Win, lol!

Once he signs with Giants this place will say “ he is overrated “ “ paid too much”

we are a walking contradiction of a fan base
I'll say it before he signs.

He won't add much to this offense, and in my humble opinion, we should be running a lot of 3 TE sets. That's what we are built for.

I'll say it now. He is overrated. I still want him and think he's a good signing. I just understand what he is. He's not the old Beckham. But he can't be worse than Tolbert or Noah Brown IMO.

EXACTLY. Like you said, they may end up 9-2. But they aren't nearly good enough for me to say they can't lose today lol.

I'm not saying you are wrong...just not saying your right lol. You pay be proven to be right though. We'll see. I don't think they are very good or anyone for that matter. Teams will eventually start to peak.

OBJ isn’t signing here. He may want to. Jerry may want him to. But there is no way Stephen allows the contract he’ll want. This will go the way of every big name FA. “We just couldn’t get the numbers to work out.” How many times do we need this movie to play out before everyone accepts the ending? I’m ambivalent to the c he chatter, but he’s probably playing for the Giants in the playoffs.
