what a mistake, expectation; They spend those 4 years of contract without winning a playoff game, because they will not be able to put together a good defense due to lack of money at the top, and they let few good players go in free agency. deja vu

No I just reply to see the diarrhea of the keyboard that you produce. It amuses me. LOL

So you are doing it for the laughs then. There it goes again, the self-righteous ploy again. You couldn’t say you were wrong in your mis-quoting me and proceed to write essay after essay, even resorting to searching for GIFs of Gollum to use in w Lord of the Rings reference, while claiming you just do it to see the diarrhea of the keyboard that I produce in the same thread where you admitted you read my posts.

In his first year, after that what's the outlook? We saved 12 million this year, but don't see how it really works out for us otherwise with 42.5M as his avg.

Even with the money, are we going to be aggressive in FA or the standard escape to the yacht vacation the first week of FA? I've seen this before, they will point to Dak as the big FA signing and doubt we'll spend much elsewhere.

Giant TV deal coming and the cap will definitely rebound.

Do you really think Jerry has no insights on that piece? Very clear from the structure of the deal that he knows there will be much more cap money in the future.

Welp, 4 straight super bowls coming. Oh wait, they still don't have a defense. At least Dak finally got paid.
Now all we need to know is what will be left to build around him.
I'm guessing there won't be much, if any at all.

Yup, good bye defense, good bye Super Bowls.

So, Jerry does love Dak. Congrats to both sides for arriving at an agreement. I can't wait to hear the official details of the deal. The rumors of a four-year deal worth $160M with $120M guaranteed, $66M signing bonus is what is being leaked. Sounds about right but we'll see, Press Conference is scheduled for Wednesday. Hopefully, we get the details then.:clap::yourock::oldcouple::dance::flagwave::starspin::thumbup:

The guarantee isn't the problem. The signing bonus is a hurdle, but not insurmountable.

Its fairly insurmountable. If you wait until the final year of the deal, its still 25 million in dead money and that is the lowest it will be. Its 37.5 with 2 years left. That is an untradable contract unless you are willing to throw the next year away and start a rebuild from scratch. To even consider it you are talking 3 first round picks and a starter or 2 as a starting offer.

The offense averaged 26 points a game that season. The defense averaged 19 points given up that season. Again, I ask. Who did their jobs twice against Green Bay and who didn't 1 of those times?

Bruh, you really stretching for numbers. I mean you tried the 3-1 angle and a win after the loss to the Cowboys, now you are here. The Vikings averaged 20 points per game and the Bears 17. The Lions averaged 21. But they soundly beat that margin playing the awful Packers defense, who were allowing 400 plus yards.

It’s like me saying the Falcons put up 44 points against a Packers. The Falcons put up 24 in one half, holding the Packers to 0, until the third quarter. The Falcons defense was 27th in the league, way worse than Dallas. The Packers were 21.

So yeah, the Packers sucked and how come it was 28-13 going into the 4th against such a horrible defense? I mean the Packers only put up 6 in the fourth.

So why didn’t the FIFTH rank scoring offense at HOME put up more than that, instead of having to play major catch up in the fourth, against soft defense. And BTW, Dak threw an INT in the third from the GB 19 yard line, when Zeke was running like a mad dog, including a 22 yard run to initiate that drive.

48 pages lol.

Knew this day was coming since November 2016. Jerry Jones made 100% commitment in his new franchise quarterback then.

Wow, a 50 page thread lol any bets on what it’ll end up at? I’m going for 75
That is a good guess I think. 80-85 pages is my take. The usual umpteen "I gotta post a new thread about Prescott when umpteen are already on the Fan Zone front page" may sap some of this thread's staying power before either of our guesses though. We'll see.
