This line actually concerns me. It is so big it smells. I think Vegas is trying to bait the public into taking my Skins. Not a good sign for my team.

In reality your QB and team shouldnt have much more success than GB did against us.

I like Green Bays defense much more than Washingtons.

I also like Green Bays receivers much more than Washingtons.

Ill give Washington TE and RB.

Thats not even mentioning we played GB on the road and looked asleep and still dominated.

I dont know if I agree with you on defense. The Skins usually find a way to "bring it" against us. But Romo has been in practice mode(if you will) in his first 3 games of this season. Teams are trying MAX pressure and he is getting better and getting used to it. It can only benefit him against Skins and as the season rolls on.

Receivers - well its not so much about the WR's as it is the QB that CANT get them the ball.

TE and RB - GB RB was hurt but yeah edge to Wash. TE agreed.

At home - not a comfort for me. Romo and Cowboys are Road Warriors.

OMG!!! I'm suprised the line is that much!

I am amazed it is that high.

That is all we need as the Commanders are certain to use that as a rallying point for being "disrespected".

Since 2004, the teams are even, 6-6. All but three I believe have been 10 points or less: 2005: Commanders won 35-6 (Dallas beat up and fading at that time) at FedEX. 2006: Dallas won 27-10 (Skins horrible and beat up). 2007: Skins won 27-6 at FedEX (Dallas had everything wrapped up -- and reportedly didn't even game plan).

Both teams are relatively healthy. We are missing Taylor, but I'm not too down about that right now. I'm more worried about stopping Barber and Jones then I am TO right now. The Skins 2ndary is playing very well -- limiting Brees to 250 yrds. He lit up both of the other teams he's played this year. Limited Warner and his stellar receivers to 195 yards -- with one big play.

But Jacobs and James had holes and room to run. We stopped Reggie Bush, but really, who doesn't? It's looking like the physical runners are more problematic then the small, fast ones.

That being said -- I think it'll be a lot closer then people are figuring, with the Cowboys ultimately prevailing: 24-17.

Interestingly, we (Skins) haven't been doing a lot of blitzing or bringing extra men to pressure the QB, we had mostly been relying on our front 4 to do it, and dropping more people back to defend the pass. The result is that we have (I think) the 3rd or 4th best pass defense currently, but are giving up over 5 yards per carry against the run. With Taylor out, who knows how we might change our scheme, but at this point, I'm a lot more worried about Marion Barber than I am about the Romo-Owens connection.

Even from a Skins fan point of view, Barber is an animal (except for week 17 last year) and he just helped rupture a man's spleen. We'll definitely need to commit a linebacker or two, I'm just hoping that our secondary can hold up.

Sometimes, there is a reason folks are disrespected. They may not like it, but there is a reason.

If you guys don't get significant pressure with your front 4 then sitting back and covering is going to get you killed. Romo has far and away the better O-Line than the Saints and Cards and if you just sit back and give him time he's going to pick any secondary apart, no matter how good it is. Philly tried that theory, not blitzing a lot, and they have a darn good secondary and he ate it up.

But I do think the bigger problem you guys are going to have is stopping Barber and Jones.

Good points you made there. My only concern is Campbell going to Moss for the deep ball. It will be interesting to see the matchups in the secondary. But honestly, I don't think the Commanders D has enough talent to match up with the offensive weapons off the Cowboys (Barber, T.O., Felix Jones, Witten, Miles Austin, etc)

Portis, Cooley, and Moss are potential threats but Campbell is inconsistent. I think it will be close through a couple of quarters because of the rivalry but I see the Cowboys pulling away towards the end as they did with Green Bay.

Cowboys 31 - Commanders 17
