The Cowboys are clearly better than the Eagles..........?????????? After watching Detroit on their last possession punk the Boys all the way down the field and should of or could have beat us if it weren't for the help of the officials, I don't see a clear separation between the two clubs. Personally, I'm sick and tired of teams abusing our defense when it matters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL. Well for starters, the officials gave Detroit a massive gift roughly two minutes earlier on a horrendous tripping call. So spare us the 2 pt conversion BS.

Two, Detroit is actually a good team so beating them is a quality enough win. Thirdly, less than 24 hours later, the Eagles lost AT HOME to a horrible, three win Cards team. This after barely beating the Giants AND losing to Seattle, 49ers and us three game in a row.

So yeah, right now, there is a gap between us and them.
I dont think we beat Detroit. 8/ #Refs

MIght see them again soon.

Love seeing the Eagles implode.

They just held Dolphins and Detroit two of the top defenses in the league to measly points. You do realize that that stupid prevent defense against the lions allowed that last drive. Guess you didn’t watch the turnovers the D had versus the lions. Comparing Dallas D to the Eagles is laughable. Don’t let me bring out the stats to prove how wrong you are because it’s not even close. Eagles D is horrific.
After New York's win against the Eagles I'm going to have to agree with you.

I totally agree with you on that Hendershot call, it was as bad as it gets, BUT with that said when the Boys had to have that stop, had to get to Goff, had to bow their backs, what happen????????? Detroit marched down field like the Boys weren't even on the field with them. It was bad, really bad to watch players running around looking lost out there. I realize that Quinn put them in their prevent D, but I'm sure when this defense was ran in practice it didn't look as bad as they looked on that last drive and if they did Quinn should be fired for calling the same defensive play, play after play. The Cowboys were lucky Goff was QBing Detroit instead of Purty or some other good QB on their last attempt at that 2 point conversion because their running back was open and had a clear lane to the end of the end zone had the pass been on target. For some reason whomever was responsible for that RB got over to him late, which shouldn't have happened. It's the little things that are going to kill this club from getting deep into the playoffs and Quinn better clean them up.................
While I understand the frustration with the defensive performance on that last drive, it's important to acknowledge that the Detroit offense is indeed one of the more potent in the league. The Cowboys defense, while not flawless, managed to make the necessary stop when it counted the most. Quinn's decision-making, particularly the use of the prevent defense, is a common strategy to limit big plays and manage the clock towards the end of games, even though it may not always look pretty.

Yes, the execution during that drive was lacking, and the defense did appear disoriented at times. However, Quinn has been successful with his defensive schemes more often than not, and calling for his dismissal after one poor drive seems premature. It's crucial to remember that even top defenses have moments of vulnerability, especially against high-caliber offenses.

In terms of the last play with Goff at QB, every game has its share of what-ifs. The fact remains that the defense did enough to disrupt Detroit's 2-point attempt and secure the win. It's these high-pressure moments that test a team's resilience, and on that day, the Cowboys showed they could withstand the challenge.

Moving forward, addressing these "little things" will indeed be key for deeper playoff success. Continuous improvement is part of any team's journey through a season. Let's trust that Quinn and the rest of the coaching staff will review the game tape and make the necessary adjustments. After all, it's these experiences that can galvanize a team and sharpen their focus for the challenges ahead.
