Once they officially activate Smith they need to make a corresponding roster move to make room.

To me there are two choices: try to sneak Nick Leverett through waivers and back onto the practice squad again, or put Ajani Cornelius on IR for a second straight season. Cornelius has been inactive all four games thus far.
