I'd imagine he'd take a job wherever he can get one. I think the only reason he's even mentioned in media circles is because he's a Ryan.

The guy has allowed never allowed less than 20 points a game in any season as a DC.. and he's consistently been above 24 PPG.

Sounds like a winner to me.

I saw what he did with Cleveland's personnel this season and that was impressive.

I can tolerate his geneaology if he turns this defense into an unpredictable, butt-kicking group that forces turnovers.

i would love capers like most . but there's no gurantee that is happening so we need to move on and me personally i would rather have a proven DC than a reach ala a horton , bowles or moss "type of guy.

bottom line is this guy is a ****** and will hopefully get this defense to play up to their potential .

im sure people are feverishly scanning his resume and "prove" that he is a bad coach by posting his defensive stats of late. but keep in mind that this potentially (not hired yet) would be the first time in a while that he would be a DC on a team that could actually put up some points so i think you have to factor that in when looking at the past few years numbers .
