Cowboys are still firmly a third-place team in our own division

look at 2016, Minnesota was riding high early and GB looked terrible but then they came back and MIN crumbled

Kirk Cousins is no Rodgers
And so far this year Rodgers is no Rodgers. He’s pissed off because his receivers aren’t up to snuff. The Vikings have much better personnel, especially on offense.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Eagles 6-0
Giants 6-1
Cowboys 5-2

WFT 3-4

in that order.

Third place and not climbing.

What is your opinion on this?
What does "firmly" mean?
We're one game behind the Giants. We've beaten them already and they certainly look like a team that is not as good as their record. Every one of their games has been a one-score game.
The Eagles are for real. Unless something happens with them, they have to be the favorites to win the division.
Dallas is solidly positioned for a wildcard spot. The division title will require good play and some help. But of course there's a very long way to go.

We cannot control what other teams do or their schedules.
Keep getting better; stay healthy; focus on the opponent.
I want to win the division, but stay healthy and make the playoffs, and Ilike our chances even as a wildcard.

We will beat the giants and Philly both in Dallas.

We're good. We probably won't win the division with Philly's lead and easy schedule. We should stack 11 or 12 wins and be the top WC team.
Saints and Steelers won't be pushovers for Eagles..they stub their against one (or both), plus the Cowboys win the rematch on Xmas Eve...Dallas just have to TCB with their own schedule...division title may be up for grabs later on.

Which likely means our first and only playoff game is in Lambeau because I don't see Kirk Cousins and the typically disappointing Vikings keeping it up all regular season

12-5 Cowboys vs 9-8 Packers and GB gets home field and Dak can't play in the cold.

Defense and the run game can though

They will be favored every game the rest of the way. I expect them to drop a game or two but barring injury I expect them to finish around 14 and 3.

It could be the same for the Cowboys, but the Packers and Vikings are away games, so Dallas probably will be road dogs -- although it should be a pick'em game at Lambeau the way Green Bay is playing.

I'm telling you. The Giants are better than people realize.....
they are but then again i think they're the worst 6-1 team ive ever seen but logically looking at them they take advantage of other teams giving games away which is what good teams do
