Cowboys are still firmly a third-place team in our own division

Eagles 6-0
Giants 6-1
Cowboys 5-2

WFT 3-4

in that order.

Third place and not climbing.

What is your opinion on this?
It’s great news that the Giants and Washington won. Both teams will be playing hard against the Eagles when they play them 3 more times. The Giants might not lose a game before the come to Dallas on Thanksgiving.

Packers aren't making the playoffs this year and if your scenario did come true, we'd be massive favourites to win.
No we would not. A surging late season Aaron Rodgers who the media would sensationalize about being miraculous and heroic for leading them all the way back to win the division. Sort of like how they won the division in 2013. And Dak having to go up there and play in freezing cold single digit or sub zero temps with icy snow? No chance in heck we win up there. We couldn't even win here against them with a stacked offense in 2016 at home.

I'd say the Commodores are out of it.
They have the same record as Brady and Rodgers, but they play in the best division in football so yeah they're probably done

It's their fault though because they squandered 2 easy ones against Tennessee and Detroit.

10 games over 2+ months to go in the season..and 2 of those games are against the division rivals--
Giants on Thanksgiving
Eagles on Christmas Eve

We’ve already beaten the Giants by a TD at their place. They’re not that good and it will show at some point. However, the way the Bucs, Packers, and Rams have looked the East still might get 3 in the playoffs.

in mid October on an unusually balmy day for Wisconsin. Temps in the 70s that day. Just like here in Grand Rapids which isn't far from Green Bay latitude wise and we're having balmy October days

Same can't be said for January
Perhaps but what wins in the playoffs in cold weather on the road..... Defense and run game.

Every giants win has had some sort of luck involved. however they've played close games and not turned the ball over. Have to give dabol a lot of credit.

On a positive, unless they go on another SB run (id never put it past them). They are going to have to pay Daniel Jones and barkly going forward.

Which likely means our first and only playoff game is in Lambeau because I don't see Kirk Cousins and the typically disappointing Vikings keeping it up all regular season

12-5 Cowboys vs 9-8 Packers and GB gets home field and Dak can't play in the cold.
The way the Packers look, they might not even make the playoffs. Minnesota is better than them.

look at 2016, Minnesota was riding high early and GB looked terrible but then they came back and MIN crumbled

Kirk Cousins is no Rodgers
